Banchory Beer Festival presents Beer @ the Barn 2017

Welcome to the third Beer @ the Barn. This is now our 9th festival overall as an events company. As well as lots of other mini events taking place too. We have done everything from weddings to pipe band championships! You though, the customers, showed us that there was a demand for an event like the beer festival in Banchory, so we listened and have taken your points on board, with every one of our festivals improving as a result. At MFGF Events we welcome feedback and would encourage you to let us know how you think we can improve your festival experience.

We love to hear from you, so if you see a man in orange (someone’s favourite colour) wandering around please stop us for a chat. We hope you have a great time at Beer @ the Barn and most of all we hope you drink responsibly.

WellGear Group | 46 Queens Road | Aberdeen | AB15 4YE T: +44 (0) 1224 900042| E: info@wellgear.nl

All the bars within the festival operate on a token based system. This allows you to purchase drinks tokens at one central point which can be used at all of the bars. Having a token system in place speeds up the bar services meaning less waiting time for you, the customer. The tokens operate on a very simple currency. Two tokens equal either a pint of beer or cider, a gin & tonic or a rum & mixer. All half pints are one token. Tokens can be purchased with either cash or all debit/credit cards at a rate of 5 tokens for ÂŁ11. Our food vendor operates on a cash only basis and does not partake in the token system.

Steam Punk – Dry Gin – 42% ABV A recipe originally developed 1892 by Sir Raleigh Holmes-Dunston which appealed to the high society of his current day. Now that original recipe has been adapted to the modern day, its smooth on the palate, with juniper, cardamom and citrus all coming together in excellent harmony. The finish provides slight sweetie notes and a perfect dryness to balance the juniper and citrus.

We take this a step further and teamed up with Summer House Drinks and made our own. We’ve tried to make something that goes with everything but can also be enjoyed by its self. We are pretty pleased with this as a start.
