clarissa was born in north oxford, massachusetts


clara started a school and she didn't know what to do so she read from a bible And then she moved and when she moved she saw boy's on the street's who coudn't pay and so she started a free school and soon she had 618 students.


In the civil war she nursed wounded soldiers on battlefields in virginia and maryland.


she helped a flood in pennsylvania by bringing food to pennsylvania.


she helped start the national first aid association of america.


died at age 90 in 1912 glen echo, maryland.


This Person is a changemaker because: 1. she saw boys on the streets and started a school on the way. 2.she saved some soldiers life's! 3.she helped a flood by bringing food to them.

My Changemaker is connected to amelia earhart because she was a nurse at one time.

One thing I've learned is= that she was a nurse in the civil war.
