iN 1869, gandhi was born in india.

HE WAS A TERRIBLE STUDENT. HE WAS SHY AND SENSITIVE. IN 1888 WHEN he went to london he learned how to be a lawyer and that justice was more important than money. He wasn't very good at it, but he passed his test and went back to india.

IN 1919, BACK IN INDIA, GANDhI TOLD THE PEOPLE OF INDIA TO MAKE THeiR OWN CLOTH AND SALT RATHER THAN THE BRITISH DOING IT FOR THEM (SO THERE WOULD BE LESS BRITISH THINGS) TO BECOME MORE INDEPENDENT! SO THE BRITISH ATTACKED BeCAUSE THEY WERE BECOMING MORE INDEPENDENT!

In 1922, HE WENT TO JAIL (beCAUSE OF THE SALT MARCH AND TELLING POEPLE TO MAKE THEiR OWN CLOTH) AND WHEN HE WAS IN JAIL, HE WENT ON A HUNGER STRIKE TO FREE INDIA. HE WAS WELLLIKED, SO THE BRITISH LEFT beCAUSE THEY DIDN'T WANT TO BE RESPONSible FOR GANDhI'S DEATH.

BUT THERE WAS A PRICE. In 1948, INDIA WAS SPLIT IN TWO countries of muslim PAKISTAN AND hindu INDIA. A HINDU SAID GANDhI WAS RESPONSiBLe FOR THE SPLIT SO HE WAS SHOT AND KILLED.

Gandhi is a changemaker because: 1. he changed the way people think and to solve problems without violence.

2.he risked his own life to get india free.

3. he told people they should make their own cloth and Salt to get the british out of india instead of fighting because they would just fight harder.

GANDhI IS CONECTED TO martin luther king jr. because he inspired him to become a changemaker and followed his footsteps

one thing I'VE LEANED IS GANDhI IS ONE OF THE MOST PEACEFUL PEople BeCAUSE HE GOT THE BRITISH OUT OF INDIA IN A VERY VERY PEACEFUL WAY.
