Harriet Tubman was born in maryland around 1820 or 1821. She was born a slave and she hated slavery.
As a child harriet got whipped and beat! She did not like getting whipped. Harriet was very poor because she had to work for free.
Harriet hated slavery because it wasn't fare. just because the color of someone's skin dose not mean they are bad.
Harriet escaped slavery on the uderground railroad and freed more 700 slaves.
in the civil war harriet was a cook, nurse and spy.
later on she fought for women's rights. she wanted women to able to vote.

One thing I've learned is harriet tubman freed more than 700 slave's.
1. because she freed more than 700 slaves! 2. she was a cook,spy and nurse. 3. she help stop slavery.
