harriet lived in a old rickety house with 11 brothers and sisters it was hard and she hated being a slave. one day she saw a slave acting strange he was hiding from the overseer then he started running away the slave did not turn back the overseer asked harriet for help she said ''no'' but she followed him enemy the slave ran into a shop he hid under a table then he ran out the door
harriet blocked the oversser from going outside the ooverseerthrew a wait at the slave it hit harriet in the head her mother was scared she was going to die her mother nursed her back to heath from then on she suffered sleeping spells.
When she left with her brothers every twig that snapped made them scared they finally said'' we are going home'' she followed back but the next day she escaped!!
Even though she escaped she went back a lot of times to rescue 300 slaves .
she hid in some strange places like one time she hid in a potato sack I think it was a risk to do that.
This is harriet Tubman's house. chimney is tilted if it was straight the house could burn down. also, safe houses were used ont he underground railroad. a place that help keep slaves safe as they were escaping on the underground railroad.
