best known for John Fitzgerald kennedy is best known for the speech: "So my fellow americans, ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country."
birth: 1917 springfield, massachusetts
1963 cuban missle crisis
1942 world war ii naval hero 1962 elected president
I think that John wanted everyone in the world to support liberty, and he thought everyone could help, whether they were poor or rich, black or white!
1962 formed the space program almost as soon as he got elected he raised the minimum wage for poor people and fought for civil rights
DEATH: 1963 dallas, texas
John endured hardships in world war II. fresh out of army school, jack went to war on pt 109. while on pt 109, a japanese destroyer rammed it in half. it killed 2 immediately. john was thrown down hard on his already hurting back. john saved a man who was too burned to swim by grabbing his life jacket in his teeth, towing him that way. when he got back he received two medals of honor.
I think that he was very brave! I can't believe that John bit into someone's life jacket to save him!!!!!!
john took risks late in his presidency while under pressure from cuba because they wanted to bomb washington with nuclear missiles. and in cuba the poor were treated badly. he was dealing with both of them while he tried to get a man in outer space.
john showed compassion when he was president. poor people earned $1.00 a week and black people were sprayed with hoses because some people thought black people were bad. j.f.k changed the law and said "poor will now get $1.25 a week" to show that poor and black deserved the rights!
he w o h zing a m a had s ' o t h i w k n e l i eop I th p r o f laws d ts. e h g g n i a r t ch the leas
John communicated and shared ideas with others when he was going to outer space. First he tried to get a man into outer space. after he did, he set a goal that said "let's try to get a man on the moon before the end of the century." people thought he was crazy, but
I think John's goal was to show people that anyone can do anything!
john had to be brave fresh out college. he was 25 when he was a naval commander.
The risk of dying young might have been scary!
If john wasn't president, I think that black people would be treated unfairly--same with the poor (here, and in cuba) and america might have been bombed years ago. $1.00 bill=minimum wage, before John
America might have been bombed, if not for john
Before john, black people were treated unequally
my change maker helped people same with me and we both stood up for other people!
I'm A change maker when I help hurt people.
My Change maker is connected to m.l.k because they both tried to get black people rights.
