introduction
famous quotation: "why do you push us black people around?"
Best known for: NOT GIving up her seat on the bus to a white person.
What I find interesting is that she didn't give up her seat.
Bravery takes action perseverance
I CHOSE THIS PERSON BECAUSE...I think it was cool that she didint get up.
Rosa parks went to jail because she did not give up her seat to a white person I think... she wanted to change the low that made black people sit at the back of the bus. she thought the law was unfair. if people heard about her going to jail they might want to change the law themselves. The buses stopped running during the boycott and black people walked to work. I think... it would be hard to walk everywhere.
she stayed in her seat on a public bus. She was sitting in her seat when a white person told her she needed to get up. Rosa said no. I think she was brave to keep her seat because she knew she would be arrested.
Rosa Parks took action when the bus driver ordered her to give up her seat and she said, "NO!" She was not afraid to get arrested. She was tired of being pushed around. I think she wanted to be arrested so she could try to change the law. The law about black people having to give up their seats on the bus!
Rosa Parks was really upset that Black people had to stay separate and were treated differently from white people.
I think I would want to make my own choices about where I drink, what i do or where I sit on a bus. Having someone else tell me what to do is unfair. Rosa had a strong mind because she had had enough!
I'm similar to my change maker because... I stand up for myself!
IM A CHANge maker when I stand up for myself and others!
My Change maker is connected to doctor Martin Luther King Jr. because they both fought for black rights!
