Susan grew up in Massachusetts. when she was growing up most girls did not go to school. But susan did because her nice parents believed girls should go to school just like boys.

sionate s a p m o c r e h k in I th san u S d e lp e h ts n e r pa ction to move in the dire rights. help women get

Susan had a hardship when she was 15 she was a teacher and Another boy teacher got more money then her. Women didn't have as many rights as men did. one of the rights they didn't have was getting paid the same as men.

fair t o n s i t that i ed just k r I think o w n Susa because he did and as h as hard n't get as muc did she still y as he did. mone

She was a working bout 15 when s he as work wh a teacher. No started w we do en w n't you're i e're that youn g, unles n high school volunte and you s ering. 're That's s ort of c razy!

Susan persevered by working to give women the same rights as men. Women could not vote. Women were paid less than men. Women could not own property and they had to give their money to their husbands. She went to jail for voting because it was against the law for women to vote. after she got out she kept on trying to change the laws by giving speeches so women could have rights. In 1920 woman were given the right to vote! but the sad thing was, susan never got to see the law change about women's rights!

I think that its impressive that she spent 50 years on women's rights!

Susan took actions to help women get rights. After she voted in an election and was arrested she and her friend Elizabeth cady started a group that fought for women's rights. Susan wanted to solve the problem of women not having rights. susan and her friend Elizabeth made a newspaper was called "The revolution". They made it to get men and women to come to their speeches. Susan began traveling the country to give speeches that Elizabeth wrote.

Susan giving a speech

susen was brave when she was in court for voting--an illegal vote!-and instead of paying a $100 she gave them a surprising speech about women's suffrage.

susan learned that mistakes are marvelous when susan did a speech. a lot of people just came to listen and did not do what she said for them to do. She said, "I'll be back!" and came back a couple of years later.

The world is different because of Susan because she helped people think, "Is this right what we're doing? Should we be doing this?" After she died, it helped people understand that this wasn't right and helped steer people in the direction of letting women vote.

I think very h that she wor ard at ked t r women ying to vote! It's so let weird a rt nd cra zy tha of t they couldn 't!

I think that slavery and especially women not having rights is wrong, just like Susan!

i'm a changemaker when i don't fight with my brother because my mom and dad don't get so frustrated

my changemaker is connected to giving women the right to vote, just like elizabeth cady stanton!
