On December 3rd, 2017, the 5th Stage of the 27th Brazil Triathlon 2017 Trophy was held, in the city of Santos, SP. The event was endorsed by the "End Polio Now", a worldwide campaign for polio eradica on, sponsored by Rotary Interna onal. The stage had just over 800 par cipants from all over Brazil. District 4420 was represented by several Rotarians, including the District Rotary Founda on Commission President, GD Marcos A F Franco, the President of the Polio Subcommi ee, Dr. Gelvana Reis, and the president of RC de Santos-Oeste, Marco Cardoso. Congratula ons to the organiza on, especially Núbio de Almeida, director of the Event and Rotarian from Santos-Oeste. It was the second year that NA Sport, promotes of the event, highlights the End Polio Now campaign in all the material of this stage: trophies, shirts, banners and website.
