Rotary was founded on fellowship. Rotarians come together from different countries around the world to share common interests and become friends.

One hundred years ago, at the 1917 Rotary Convention in Atlanta, Rotary President Arch Klumph proposed creating an endowment “for the purpose of doing good in the world.” 14th ITFR World Championship is going to be held in

Argentina!

13th ITFR World Championship Keep Growing and Serving by President Eugene McNease. Our International Tennis Fellowship of Rotarians has enjoyed a fantastic year of Rotary, Tennis and Fellowship! We sponsored and conducted outstanding tournaments in Europe , Sud Americano, and North America! We have added dozens of New Members with new and exciting roles to play in years to come. We just concluded the year with 13th World Championship Tournament in Atlanta, Georgia USA in conjunction with Rotary International Convention. The Tournament was Directed by Larry Frazier of The Carrolleton, Georgia Rotary Club. Tournament Group included participants from 11 Countries, 15 Rotary Districts and 25 Rotary Clubs.We had 25 players with 30 people participating. We held championship at Cherokee Town and Country Club in Atlanta, Georgia. We raised $1000 for Rotary Polio Plus Program. We also celebrated 100th Anniversary of Rotary Foundation founded by Archibald Klumph.

They offered an extensive and wonderful program, where everyone could enjoy the beautiful city of Campo Grande. 90 guests participated in the opening dinner, among the players, family members, members of RC Campo Grande Norte and guests. There were 52 games played in 3 days in the categories of singles, men and women, men and women doubles and the surprising mixed double that counted on 12 teams. With 32 players, this edition surpassed the previous one held in Canela RS in 2015. Each year the number of participants has grown. The first edition in Olympia was 16.

Molina who offered a welcome cocktail with Pisco Sour. Once again, a portion of the financial revenue obtained was earmarked for the Polio eradication campaign: US $ 4.0 thousand. The symbol of the tournament was the TUIUIU, who lent his image to the trophies and shirts of the tournament, elaborated by Marcos (Tainá) Guimarães, who was also the technical supervisor.
