We have had a great start to the year with holidays operating throughout the UK, Ireland and Mainland Europe, feedback has been exceptional, as always, with regards to our pickup service, coaches, hotels and most importantly drivers!

This brochure has holidays for the remainder of 2023 plus, we have a selection of 2024 holidays on sale that are either early in the year, or if the 2023 departures have already sold out. These are the holidays that need to be booked as far in advance as possible as are likely to sell out again!

Remainder of Summer and Autumn

Most of these holidays have been on sale for a while but there are new holidays in October. These include Magic Medieval Cornwall (P7), Loch Lomond House Party (P31) and Discovering Dundee (P37)

If you don’t see your holiday that you have already booked in this brochure, please don’t panic! It is not included as already sold out.

River Cruises

We have two remaining this year to the Danube (P50) and to the Baltic Coast (P51)

Run up to Christmas

Christmas Markets were back in full swing last winter, so we have many options for visiting these (P52-53). All our Thursford holidays sold out in 2022 and we are offering four this year (P54-55). One is based in Great Yarmouth with Turkey & Tinsel theme and the other three stay in our fabulous new hotel in Hunstanton, which is close to Thursford. We also have a wide selection of tours to resorts, many with a Turkey & Tinsel theme (P55-64), please see individual holidays for details of this. New destinations are Warners Thoresby Hall (P62), Lytham (P63), Gwbert (P63) and if you can’t decide we have one of our popular Mystery Holidays (P59)

Christmas

We return to three hotels that received the best feedback last Christmas, these are Plymouth, Chichester & Kings Lynn. Plus, we have new holidays to The Lake District (P67) and Warners Bodelwyddan Castle (P68). Finally, we have a holiday to Ilfracombe staying at one of our all-time favourite hotels (P69), on this page you will also find details of our New Year Holiday there and you can even stay there for 11 days and combine both!

New Year

We return to three hotels that have received great feedback in previous years, these are in St Agnes, Falmouth, and Sandown. Our new destination if the ever-popular Bournemouth staying at the fabulous Suncliff Hotel (P71)

2024

You will find dates for January to March plus holidays that have already sold out for 2023 so we are giving you the opportunity to book for 2024 now to guarantee your space. Holidays that have sold out particularly quickly this year are Isles of Scilly, Scottish Islands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Paris by boat.

Extras & itineraries

Our holiday prices are per person and include all coach travel during the holiday. The itinerary for each holiday will make it clear if any entrances are included or not. If tours are listed as A, B, C etc. this means these tours may operate in a different order to how shown in the brochure. This is to accommodate for attractions, weather conditions, driver rest days etc.

Our Drivers and Coaches

Our drivers are renowned for their care and professionalism whilst driving and their helpful attitude, which all contribute to the enjoyment of your holiday. All coaches are extremely modern, comfortable, air conditioned and will be fitted with a toilet plus a fridge.

Hotels

An important part of the holiday, so we are very careful about the hotels used. All are to a good standard with en suite rooms with televisions and are described individually under each holiday. Many hotels offer entertainment in the evenings. Any requests should be made on the booking forms.

Single Travellers

A large number of our passengers are single travellers and we of course welcome you aboard all of our tours. On some holidays, unfortunately, hotels will charge a supplement for single rooms, this is shown under each individual holiday. Where there is no mention of a supplement it means that we have some single rooms available without a supplement, these rooms tend to get booked up extremely quickly and any further rooms may attract a supplement from the hotel. To help you find holidays without a single supplement, look for this logo:

Wheelchair and Motorised Scooters

We are happy to carry conventional wheelchairs, however, motorised scooters do create a series of practical difficulties and we are unable to carry them on holidays that are to more than one hotel. If you do wish to bring a wheelchair or a motorised scooter then we do request that you inform us at the time of booking so that we can check that there is space and that the scooter is a type that we are able to carry. If you are taking a Motorised scooter you will need to get to one of our main pickup points stated on the back page as our feeder vehicles cannot carry these.

Financial Security Statement

The combination of travel services offered to you is a package within the meaning of the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018. Therefore, you will benefit from all rights applying to packages; Barnes Coaches Ltd. will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package as a whole. Additionally, as required by law, Barnes Coaches Ltd. have protection in place to refund your payments and, where transport is included in the package, to ensure your repatriation in the event that they become insolvent. Barnes Coaches Ltd. are members of the Bonded Coach Holiday Group, overseen by The Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust Limited. This is a government approved consumer protection scheme. This ensures that in relation to the coach package holidays described in this brochure (or website) that a Bond, which may be called upon in the unlikely event of the members Insolvency, protects the clients’ monies.
