Masks and Face Coverings All staff, participants and visitors MUST wear face masks/coverings while in our facilities and in every class. Guidelines will continue to be updated in accordance with IDPH & DCEO Guidelines. Social Distancing & Group Sizes A minimum of 6-ft of social distancing is required at our indoor and outdoor facilities. Our programs have been adjusted by reducing class sizes, altering activities and staggering start times. Signage at parks and facilities and messaging on our website encourages social distancing at group size and capacity limits.
Park District
What are we doing to help keep you safe?
Hand Washing & Sanitizing Staff and visitors are recommended to wash hands often with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the restroom, before eating, and after blowing their nose, coughing or sneezing. Hands free sanitizer stations are available throughout our facilities. Cleaning & Common Areas In addition to regular maintenance, the Park District has enhanced cleaning and disinfecting procedures for frequently touched objects and surfaces throughout the day. Cleaning and disinfecting before and after each class is conducted in compliance with CDC protocols.
We are watching and evaluating IDPH, DCEO Restore Illinois Guidance, CDC and our Park & Rec Risk Management Association for changes to COVID-19 restrictions. As guidelines are relaxed or updated we will continue to update the program offerings and capacities along with the limitations we are adhering to in order to keep our patrons and staff healthy.

July 7 Rosie & The Rivets
Rosie & The Rivets perform the best danceable music of the 1950’s and early 1960’s along with some current hits with a retro twist. Not your typical ‘oldies playing oldies’ band, they perform a high energy show that’s fun for all ages. You’ll hear early rock, rockabilly, girl group, surf and soul authentically and expertly performed by professional entertainers. Sticklers for detail, much research went into their stage production; period correct clothes along with vintage guitars, drums, and even microphones assure you’ll be in for a truly Retro-Cool experience both visually and musically. While shows are pure Rock & Roll, they pride themselves on keeping them family and client friendly.
July 14 Shout Out
SummerEvents Special Camps- Summer Concert Park Series District - K.E.E.P.
Wednesday’s
Shout Out is comprised of some of Chicago’s finest professional musicians. Shout Out performs a wide variety of music from the 60’s through today’s top hits. You will hear all of your favorite Top 40 radio hits from artists like Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Usher and Maroon 5. They are also well versed in the 80’s, 90’s and early 2000’s. Created by the national award winning band Maggie Speaks, Shout Out will keep you dancing all night long.
July 21 Classical Blast
What happens when classical meets rock? Classical Blast! Classical Blast is dedicated to bringing the classical arts to mainstream rock and pop music. They’re classically trained musicians who love to rock, and rock musicians who love all kinds of music, believing that music has no boundaries. Classical Blast’s “From Bach to Rock” concert show is a melding of classical and classic rock, exploring the many links between today’s rock music and the famed classical composers. Roll over Beethoven, it’s a wild ride through the ages that totally rocks out.
July 28 Sushi Roll
If there was only one word to describe Chicago cover band sensation Sushi Roll, it would be animazing! Formed in early 2012, Sushi Roll quickly perfected their own unique blend of high-energy dance music, infused with rock ‘n’ roll swagger, then topped off with memorable stage costumes inspired by cosplay and anime. Sushi Roll is one-part driving rock, one-part light-hearted pop, and one-part over-the-top theatrical verve. The band easily transitions between revved-up versions of your favorite pop and rock hits.
August 4 Mason Rivers
Mason Rivers is live entertainment with big vocals, big sound and your favorite songs. They are a high-energy country band that covers the best of today’s country music as well as favorite classics. Mason Rivers was formed from some of the finest musical talent in the Chicagoland area. Strong paired with a rich diversity of musical background and skill result in an exciting sound that’s bigger than country and stronger than rock.

Per the Illinois Department of Public Health’s guidelines, camps will be offered in small “static camp pods” of up to 30 campers at many locations throughout the Barrington Park District. Aqualusion Pool Rules For the safety of all pool users, we ask that participants adhere to the following rules. Rule infractions are cause for dismissal from the pool.
1. All Patrons 2 years old and above must wear a face covering at all times while checking in, in the locker room and on the pool deck. Masks may be removed while in the pool. 2. In order to maintain social distancing deck chairs must remain in the location they are found in. 3. All patrons should complete a health self-screening questionnaire prior to arriving at the pool. This questionnaire ensures that no patrons are exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms and have not been exposed to anyone who is COVID-19 positive (to the best of their knowledge). 4. Any patrons who wish to reserve back to back time slots (if reservation process is put in place) must exit the facility at the end of the reservation period so staff may clean. Patrons then may re-enter at the start of the second time slot. 5. Admittance is by daily use fee. All persons entering the pool, including spectators, must pay a fee. 6. Children 9 years and under must be under constant supervision of a person age 16 years or older. For safety reasons, children may not be left unattended on the pool deck or in the concession areas. 7. Children 5 years of age and older will not be permitted in the locker room of the opposite sex. Children must be prepared to change their clothing or walk through the locker room on their own, if necessary. When possible, the Park District recommends that a parent or adult chaperone of the same sex accompany the child through the locker room. 8. Lined bathing suits are required to enter water (unlined, mesh, or cut-off shorts, spandex, sports bras, boxer shorts, leotards, or T-shirts are not allowed). No boxers or compression shorts allowed underneath board shorts. 9. Adults are given priority for chairs. 10. Only U.S. Coastguard-approved lifejackets allowed. No exceptions. No water wings or floats allowed. 11. Food and beverages are allowed only in the designated concession and grass area. 12. Children who are not toilet trained must wear swim diapers or tight fitting plastic pants. 13. Smoking and alcohol are prohibited at all Park District facilities. 14. Strollers must be placed on grass areas only.
Pool Closings

Children over 8 years old are not allowed in the zero depth pool (baby pool). 19. Street shoes are not allowed on the pool decks. 20. All swimmers are encouraged to take a shower before entering the pool.
The following conditions may warrant closing of the Aqualusion Pool: inclement weather (i.e. thunder, lightning, tornado), air temperature below 68OF as recorded at O’Hare, low attendance, mechanical breakdown and/or health code requirements. Pool may close early for special events/park programming.
21. All other state and local health codes apply. 22. Children must be 42" tall to use any of the body slides or drop slides. 23. Self-Esteem All Twisted Up Hot Pretzel Party
AGES: 6 - 13 YEARS The last 15 months have had us all feeling twisted up much like the beloved hot pretzel! Just because we get twisted up in life does not mean we have to remain that way (Life Coaching Lesson snuck in is on Growth Mindset). Kids can alter their hot pretzel with toppings like: cotton candy bits, chocolate, butterscotch, vanilla icing, etc. While we enjoy our wacky customized treat, kids will become hot pretzel experts on this booming 500-million-dollar business.
