It was festival time as Sports Fair moved to the sports centre & achieved a record

CHEERLEADERS were sensational UKCA National Champions ICC Runners Up (Pom Dance) BCA Runners Up (Co-ed small stunt) Cheered at the Coventry Half Marathon Workshops at Charter Primary School


NETBALL were inspirational Dominating in BUCS Volunteering Projects in Schools Hosting Numerous University Tournaments


ARCHERY had a phenomenal year: Butts Indoor&Outdoor Winners BUCS Outdoors National Runners Up

BUCS Indoors National Runners Up BUTC Runners Up National Indoors 3rd Place


Aikido excelled Hosting the International acclaimed British Birankai Special Weapons Course


Warwick Sport would like to thank all the sports clubs and more importantly the Sports Club Executive Members for their extraordinary accomplishments this year Your hard work and devotion to your sport make Warwick Sport the massive success it is


Warwick Sport enjoyed huge individual success over the year Sarah Jane Perry (Squash) – current European U19 Champion Iain Embrey (Orienteering) – represented Great Britain at the Junior World Championships. Sarah Reid (Equestrian Vaulting) – selected for the Senior Great Britain team for the European Championships Jessica Luke (Goalball) – part of the Great Britain squad working towards the European Championships in August 09.


Danielle Stewart (Staff – Triathlon/Duathlon) – Silver medallist at the age group Duathlon European Championships. Cian O Morain (Ultimate Frisbee) – Won the BUCS Indoor & Outdoor Nationals with Warwick Uni & now plays for Clapham, the National Champions.


Robyn Le Friel (Swimming) – Hampshire County Champion & 5th in the BUCS 100m butterfly long course. Thomas Riding (Lacrosse) – member of senior Welsh National Squad & played in the British National Lacrosse Championships. Louise Bradley (Equestrian) - competed for the student international team coming 1st and 7th and winning the team event. Joanna Honey (Equestrian) – competed for the student international team coming a 8th and 5th and winning the team event. Jack Donelan (Waterpolo) – invited to attend Senior England Squad training sessions. Chris Wells (Archery) – bronze medallist at the World Field Championships, represented England in the national indoor championships.


Rachel Wood (Athletics) - 4th at the Lancashire Cross Country Championships, and 3rd in the county and top 60 overall in the inter counties/world trials. John McNally (Golf) – finished 7th in the BUCS order of merit & came 3rd in the South West BUCS qualifiers.


Alex Twiss fought off the competition to become the new Sports Officer for 09-10
