THINGS TIMELINE TAUGHT ME! I love the idea that Facebook reminds us of what we were doing, thinking about or whom we were with ‘on this day’ years ago. You will be shocked by the number of people you stopped talking to, who meant a lot to you in the past, the ideas and quotes you used to share a couple of years ago, and how they changed now, even your political views in the disturbing surreal political ups and downs the country witnessed. It inspires one to make a pause from the quick rhythm of life and take a look at the person you have become now! You might find a total different person, whom if you met in the past most likely you won’t be friends with because you have almost nothing in common to talk about! Time changes us and seeing your life as a timeline that saves every word you said, every case you supported and every opinion you made can make us see life from a very different perspective and thus, act differently. A note to self, personally, I’ve learnt that one shouldn’t support any political figure with passion because he might end up being the exact opposite of all what he claims, it is just that time didn’t show his real face yet, and he was exposed to a real conflict to show his other side, I personally

LOUNGE 8

was supporting political figures who I am now pleased they are behind bars in jail. I’ve also figured out that arguing is a waste of time and proving that you are right doesn’t necessarily make one a winner because nobody wants to be proven wrong, and if you make people feel bad about themselves, you may win the battle, but lose them. It is absolutely fine to disagree and one should learn to embrace and celebrate differences instead of trying and working hard to make everybody think like you and have the same priorities in life the order you put them. Fill your life timeline with cheerful moments, do crazy things and embrace life with every breath you take, the bad moments and memories will pass and nothing will remain of them except how bad you felt about them and that would be the actual damage that left a mark in your soul so, as soon as you have a chance laugh from your heart, create good memories and remember that 30 years from now these happy moments will make you smile in a sigh of content and satisfaction that you lived a happy life, which you didn’t waste in anxiety, depression or sourness.

NICK GORDON LEGALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR DEATH OF BOBBI KRISTINA BROWN

NINTH CHILD ON THE WAY FOR MEL GIBSON

Mel Gibson and Rosalind Ross, his girlfriend of two years, are expecting a baby early next year. Already a father of eight kids, Gibson, 60, is thrilled to add to his brood. “Mel and Rose are so excited about the baby,” says a friend close to the couple. “Mel loves being a dad and he and Rose can’t wait to be parents together. The last two years have been some of his happiest years he’s ever had,” their friend added. This will be a first child for Ross, 26, a writer and former champion equestrian vaulter.

Bobbi Kristina Brown died at a hospice on 26 July, six months after she was found unresponsive in a bath in her Atlanta flat. Now, a judge has found Nick Gordon, her boyfriend, “legally responsible” for her death. The decision by the judge was made after Nick failed to show at two civil wrongful death hearings. R. David Ware, a lawyer for the conservator of Bobbi Kristina’s estate, said: “The court agrees with us, by striking Mr. Gordon’s answer that he is legally responsible for her death.”

Introduce yourself to Lounge readers... Farida Temraz; Owner, CEO and Designer Chief of Temraza. It is an international brand based in Egypt that provides evening and bridal dresses with details and distinguished emblements. I studied marketing and I got the highest grade in my alumni, and I got several scholarships as well as did my masters in integrated communication. As for fashion, I took courses from Harvard about body shapes. How did your passion for fashion came about? It is my passion since I was a kid, I love the creativity behind it and it is the one thing I

enjoy doing the most. What distinguishes Temraza Couture the most? Making any girl feel confident. A confident woman feels comfortable and beautiful. It is full of details and complements the personality. It is royal and sexy at the same time. Temraza designs are for a woman who is... A woman who has fashion conscience, is stylish and wants to look unique and different as well as confident. How was your SS 2017 collection received at New York fashion week?

Every single model wrote on her caption, Facebook or Instagram “Walk like an Egyptian,” so we created this trend of being Egyptian. The collection is called the ‘Rise of the Pharaohs,’ which is basically how Egyptians are authentic and culture oriented from the inside, and from the outside they are very modern. It shows how powerful we are and how great we are; they connected me with the Pharaohs. The collection made it to the homepage of New York Fashion week. What is the comment you loved the most? As I told you “Walk like an Egyptian,” I created this whole trend on the runway.

As for foreign stars, Laura Marano, Laura Bell Bundy, Morgan Stewart, Dana Balozyan, Angelique Rivera and Kira Kosarin. Who are the celebrities you dream of dressing? Rihanna, Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Lopez. Any lady who is successful in her field, understands creativity and loves talent.

Who are the designers you like the most? Versace. What are the biggest challenges the fashion industry face in Egypt? Understanding of the true terminology; a fashion designer is not a mere tailor, and a fashion blogger is not someone who knows how to take a good pose. How to manage professionalism and meeting deadlines are my biggest challenges, you should learn to combine fashion creative minds and business professionalism together. What is your advice to young fashion designers? To present themselves properly, be professional, go after their passion and to follow their dreams.

WAYS 8 TO BRING HIM BACK

ACCEPT THE REASONS OF THE BREAKUP Your relationship ended for valid reasons and you have to accept and respect these reasons. You have to listen to his reasons and understand his point of view; you also have to give him all the time he needs to discuss it. After hearing him don’t dispute; on the contrary, make sure he knows that you fully understand his reasons, and respect them and that you will make sure that you work on them. If you have to apologize, do that, it’s definitely mature and courageous to admit your mistakes and apologize for them. DON’T BE NEEDY You have to know that needy is not desirable. Trying to convince him to come back to you will only push him away so, be confident and don’t try to give him thousands of reasons to be together because that will make things get worse. Wanting to solve your problems and apologizing for your mistakes doesn’t mean that you are desperate, but trying to convince him to come back to you is certainly desperate. Besides the fact that this will make him want to be miles away from you, it will kill the attraction because men are attracted to independent, happy and confident women. GIVE HIM SOME TIME After talking together about your relationship problems, he will need some time and space to think about it and so will you, you should give him some time to think about what you said. Don’t be intimidated, this space is beneficial for both of you. Make

breaking up is one of the worst experiences you pass through from whining to insomnia to pain. Every relationship passes through ups and downs and sometimes through breakups, it’s not the end of the world and it doesn’t mean that you can’t be together again. If you believe that your relationship is worth another try and that you still want to be with your ex, Reem El Shennawi brings you 8 ways to win him back and give your relationship a second chance..

sure you don’t contact him for a while and give him some time alone. Think about how much he will miss you during this period and how much he will respect you for being mature and for respecting him as well as yourself.

4 5 6

AVOID TEXTING AND FACEBOOKING Giving him space doesn’t involve texting or sending him messages through anything or anyone. You should also avoid sending him indirect message through Facebook, don’t post too many pictures to prove to him that you are happy, it will still seem needy. Men understand how this works, and they understand what you want to tell them when you post things on Facebook. It’s better to avoid posting things especially that you should be busy with your life right now and you don’t have time to post things. HAVE SOME ‘ME’ TIME Now, it’s time for you to work on yourself and put yourself first. Take advantage of the breakup to do the things that you have always wanted to do but couldn’t. Learn a new language, engage yourself in events, practice your hobbies, exercise, and work hard. As mentioned earlier, men are attracted to independent and strong women, he will want to be with you if he saw how much you appreciate yourself and how strong and happy you are. LET HIM DO THE CHASING Men like what they work for and that’s why you shouldn’t chase him. You already discussed your problems together and told him that you are willing to work on them so, there is no need to prove to him every once in a while that you are still available. On the

contrary, you want him to miss you and wonder what you are doing. When he calls, don’t ruin all what you did, don’t seem to be needy or clingy, be confident and happy. Know his intentions first before you get too excited because he might take some space again after this call. But, if you seem to be happy with your life, be certain that he will not tolerate this space, he will want to see you. Again, don’t get too excited; let him do the chasing because men like that.

7

MAKE HIM SEE THE DIFFERENCE He will call you after some time and if the phone call goes well, he will want to see you. Accept his invitation and go out with him, make him see how much you changed and how happy you are with your life, but be careful don’t overdo it, he will sense that you are trying to prove a point, which is not attractive. Be moderate and don’t get too excited. You want him to feel and see the difference without you trying to prove anything. Get the best out of this time, laugh and think that you are going out with a friend that you haven’t seen in a while.

8

NO TEXTS OR CALLS ALLOWED AFTER SEEING HIM Again, it’s not the right time to make a contact. Going out for coffee doesn’t mean you are back together, don’t text him or call him. Remember, he is the one who should do the chasing. Give him some time until he calls again, and be confident that he will call again and again as long as you are not needy. Now, it’s time for him to want to be with you for all the changes you have done and for how mature you are.

MAI OMAR She’s All That

a

mira Tharwat talks to Mai Omar, who won our hearts this Ramadan playing the role of ‘Shahd’ in the controversial most talked about TV serial ‘Al Ostora.’ The young actress reveals in an up-close and personal interview all about the role, how she prepared for it, her favourite fashion designers and her tips for a happy marriage.

LOUNGE 30

How were you chosen to play Shahd’s role in ‘El Ostora’ TV serial? I was chosen by the producer of the serial Wael Negm, as he saw me acting on a play so he suggested me to Mohamed Ramadan, who was very excited about me playing the role, and he is the one who suggested me to play Shahd’s character. What is common between you and Shahd? When I first read the script I couldn’t understand Shahd’s character easily, she is spontaneous and kind, but her motives and actions were a little bit odd for me so, it took me a while to love her especially because she doesn’t take any action in her life. As for what is common between us actually there is nothing common at all. This is the first time to play the role of a local Egyptian girl, how did you prepare yourself for it? A lot of people thought that my features won’t allow me to play that role, but I studied her personality really well. I went with a friend of mine to ‘El Moez’ area, and I sat with the girls there and spoke with them. I noticed that a local girl is not just about clothes and accessories, it is their spirit and body language that speak for them. The gold and long hair also played a big role in supporting the character.

You sacrificed your trendy look, did you find it hard? When I did this serial I knew that it would be a hit because it is starring Mohamed Ramadan and aired on MBC plus its directed by Mohamed Samy so, I knew it will leave a strong impact, and that is why I focused a lot and took a lot of acting classes and wished people would believe that I am a good actress rather than a pretty one. What is your comment on the criticism the serial was subjected to? I don’t feel that the serial encourages violence at all, it depicts the story of a person, who was good and abiding by the law then, became a criminal and his end was terrible not just going to jail, but losing everybody he loves and being hanged in the end. It sends a message to people that this is the end of breaking the law.

LOUNGE 32

Last interview we did together you said Mohamed Samy forgets that you are his wife when working with you, did this change? Actually, he became much better; he treats me like the rest of the actresses now because in this serial I gave him what he wants. Yasmine Sabry claims that her role was minimized for yours… I don’t have any personal problem with her, actually what happened is that she thought that the end would be that the character she plays would marry Mohamed Ramadan and live happily ever after, when she knew that they wouldn’t she refused the idea, and started claiming that the end of the serial was changed for my character’s role, which doesn’t make sense; I couldn’t say it earlier because I didn’t want to reveal the surprises at the end. Apart from ‘Al Ostora,’ which TV serial did you enjoy watching the most this Ramadan? I participated also in ‘El Tabal’ TV serial and I finished shooting on the 29th of Ramadan, so I couldn’t catch up with any TV serial this Ramadan; however, I heard a lot of positive reviews on ‘Wanos’ and I would love to watch it later on. Who are the stars you are keen on working with? I didn’t work with anyone yet (smiles) my portfolio is not that big; I would love to work with Youssra and Yehia El Fakharany. Who is your favourite designer? Elie Saab and Zuhair Murad; I adore them. What is your favourite perfume? Flowerbomb. A lot of girls gossip about the kind of lenses you wear… It is not my real eye colour, but I wear it all the time ages ago. What are your tips for a happily ever after couple? To be friends, they have to be friends with common interests before being lovers, that what makes the relationship going. What is your favourite hotspot? I love to travel a lot; I love Europe, Far East beaches and Beirut. What are you working on? I have a lot of scripts to read, but I didn’t make up my mind yet.

Barakah Meets Barakah

A Must Watch a

fter being chosen by the Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts as Saudi Arabia’s 2017 Academy Awards entry for Best Foreign Language film, Barakah Meets Barakah, directed by Mahmoud Sabbagh marks the second-ever Saudi film to be submitted for consideration. Barakah Yoqabil Barakah (Barakah Meets Barakah) tells the story of two lovers who are united in an environment hostile to dating of any kind. He is Barakah, the municipal civil servant from Jeddah, who is also an amateur actor in a theatrical troupe. She is Barakah, a wild beauty, who functions as a crowd-puller for her stylish mother’s boutique and runs her own widely-seen vlog. They both defy customs and traditions, as well as the religious police, using modern communication technologies and traditional dating methods. The film is for anyone who would like to have an insightful look into how things are done in Saudi Arabia. At the beginning of the film we meet Barakah, a young man working for the Jeddah municipal who lives with his aging father and is an amateur actor in a theatrical troupe preparing to present Hamlet on stage. Through his daily activities, we get to see Barakah’s house in one of the old neighborhoods in Jeddah and meet his neighbor Saadya the midwife and her husband Da’ash who is an expert on love and women. Barakah asks him for help with his love life which he considers nonexistent since he is an unexperienced young man due to the restrictions imposed by society on interactions between men and women. We are also introduced to his job as a municipal civil servant who implements the laws even if they seem unreasonable or archaic. On the other hand, Bibi lives a completely different life. She is an outgoing young woman from

a wealthy family who owns an Instagram account where she posts videos and photos of herself for her thousands of followers. Only, she always makes sure not to show her entire face so that it does not cause any societal issues for her in a community that is known for not allowing women to act outside of the traditional norms. Although they appear worlds apart, we find out that it is Bibi who does not have much faith in the Saudi way of living and traditions, while Barakah somewhat maintains the customs and traditions and implements the laws despite their irrationality. Like all romantic comedies, fate brings them together when Barakah receives a complaint that there is mixing on one of the beaches. Consequently, he finds himself in the middle of Bibi’s photoshoot as she promotes her mother’s extravagant clothing store. Barakahis immediately enamored with Bibi and they meet again by coincidence at an art gallery where they are able to steal a few moments together before the religious police shows up. As the two lovers grow even closer, they begin to face problems that are usually faced in this ever-watchful eye of authority where meeting in public unchaperoned is prohibited and physical contact is verboten. Even if they ignore traditions, the religious police is always on the lookout. The two lovers find themselves in a near-impossible situation, trying just to go on a first date, starting with the beach to a resort that promises its visitors the freedom to do what they wish and enjoy themselves with no restrictions. However, as usual, reality sets in and the meet up fails. In the end, Barakah decides to resort to the solution that was used by young Saudis back in the 80s which is to propose to Bibi and ensure that being engaged would make the perfect scheme to get around the dating restrictions. Although she thinks Barakah’s solution is old-fashioned, Bibi ultimately agrees as she could not find any other way out. Her family begrudgingly agree to the engagement due to the difference in social stations, which upsets Barakah but he tries to ignore it and focus on his love for her. Finally, and after many strained attempts that end up in failure, the two lovers are now able to go on a date in an unusual cinematic scene, as they sail on a boat that overlooks the city of Jeddah with a live orchestra to play music for them, sending a romantic message that Barakah would do the impossible to create a special moment for his love and impress her. But, this does not mean that they triumphed once and for all against the customs and traditions of their society.

l

ebanese Chef and TV personality Joe Barza is known for his unique and high quality of cooking. Having a successful history in the kitchen, Barza joined Conrad’s Oak to add his Lebanese flavour and his great experience. Reem El Shennawi speaks to Joe Barza about himself, his cooking style and his achievements in the cooking field.. LOUNGE 38

Tell us more about yourself I’m a simple man. I don’t know how I got into this field, but I know that the kitchen means a lot to me physically and emotionally. I was born in Lebanon, and was influenced by the Lebanese cuisine. The kitchen to me brings back old memories, it goes back to my mother and how she used to cook. How did you join Conrad? Well, I was clever and I decided not to be afraid from my culture and the Lebanese food. I jumped into the Lebanese culture and its kitchen, worked hard and I became one of the most popular names. I hosted several TV shows, and I know how to market myself well, and that’s why Conrad contacted me to join to open for them ‘Ras El Khema.’ Thank God it was a big success, and they were very satisfied and so I am. Now, I am the celebrity chef of the Lebanese cuisine for Hilton group in the Middle East. How do you see the Lebanese kitchen in Conrad’s Oak different than any other kitchen? Simply it’s Joe Barza! The kitchen is influence and I influenced the kitchen and the chefs working with me, I worked on developing

the kitchen and the service. I am very tough inside the kitchen, I know if the chefs achieve 70 percent of what I do, they will become more successful. To be successful, you should feel the food and love the people who eat your food and come especially for you, and that’s why I believe that your mom’s food is the best because it’s cooked. In general, what is special about the Lebanese food? The Lebanese people and the Lebanese spirt are what makes the food special. Describe your cooking style in 3 words.. Healthy, simple and clever. It comes from the heart. What is your signature dish? I don’t have one, it’s my trace. How do you see the food industry changed in the past few years? It has changed dramatically with all what is happening on the social media as well as the TV shows, and of course now that people travel a lot and get exposed to different cultures and thus, different food. People now have different options, they learn more about different cultures and they have several means

to do that. Now, we have many TV cooking shows that were not available before. Working as a chef now is also different than in the past, chefs were shy to say what they do. When I came back from South Africa in 1994, I said I will turn the table and make a change, which I have done. How do you manage to meet your clients’ needs and expectations? If my food meet my expectations, it will meet their needs and expectations. It’s my satisfaction first, if I am satisfied, I know they will be satisfied as well because I love my clients and I cook with love. What is your favourite cuisine? Lebanese and Egyptian cuisines. What have you added to Oak? I added food that has a good and a simple taste, food that comes from the heart, we don’t have to complicate things. What is your advice to new chefs who would want to join the field? Anyone who wants to be in this field should first love people and love their job. He should also have very high level of discipline and seriousness.

i

f you are thinking of spending an extraordinary night that includes mouthwatering food with the best quality you can find in Egypt, a spectacular view and the most fun you can get, there is no place like Pier 88. Located in Imperial Boat in Zamalek, Pier 88 has been the talk of the town since its opening, it’s of course more than just a restaurant and a bar, Giovanni Bolandrini, Owner and one of the 3 men behind the place, speaks with Reem El Shennawi about himself, Pier 88 in Gouna and in Cairo and much more.. Tell us more about yourself I started my career as a designer in Italy when I was very young. After the army, I moved to London where I started my career in fashion, and I opened my high fashion boutique, Vertice, in 1993. At that time, I was pioneering all new fashion trends, and we were one of the leading boutiques in the world to discover young talents. The boutique was visited regularly by many celebrities, players as well as public figures. I then decided to sell everything and move to Egypt. How did the idea of Pier 88 come about? Pier 88 has always been a dream of mine. I started first in Gouna along with 2 partners and decided to open in Gouna because I like the place very much and wanted to be there. It was not difficult for me to operate the restaurant because I have always been working in retail so, I was simply shifting from clothing to F&B. Slowly, we succeeded and we became one of the best restaurants in Gouna. I then decided it was time to open in Cairo, but of course someone has to operate it, and I was not all that familiar with Cairo. It took me some time until I found the current location, and it took me a very long time to

LOUNGE 44

settle on the interior designer as I had a very specific vision in mind. It took nearly a year and a half to prepare the whole place. What does the name Pier 88 refer to? 88 is the infinity number and Pier was the name that we had in mind a long time ago. How is Pier 88 in Gouna different from Pier 88 in Cairo? Our cuisine is more modern while drawing on Mediterranean and Italian influences. We don’t use many sauces or creams, we mostly use olive oil, very light sea salt, as well as other light ingredients. The menus in both places run in parallel to one another yet, they reflect the atmosphere of each restaurant. Gouna is a summery place, where people are ready to enjoy their time and indulge in their vacation, thus the dishes are a little more laid back. In Cairo, I wanted to make the dishes more of a fashionable art, they have a more elegant and chic twist to them. Pier 88 Cairo combines 4 different and difficult things together: an open kitchen, high food quality, a bar and a fun atmosphere, meaning that you come to eat and you stay for the music after. I believe it’s very difficult to find those 4 factors together in one place.

Booking in Pier 88 is known to be difficult, why is that? And how do you manage to keep your regular clients? We actually have the place booked for 2 weeks in advance, I receive more than 100 calls a day from clients to book, but unfortunately, I can’t do anything about it. I ask clients who I am not familiar with to fill out a form just to get to know them a little better. I already have a portfolio of 2000 clients who call to book. Moreover, I’m very strict about the time of the reservation, if a client books a table at 7pm, I expect them to be on the table at 7pm sharp. Tell us more about your menu and the chefs.. The chefs are originally Italian: my cousin who has 25 years of experience in several well known restaurants and Giorgio Diana, who has also been working for the best restaurants in the world, and the rest of the team are Egyptians who were trained by us. The menu is similar to Gouna’s, but with more spices and a touch of art. The Italian cuisine is difficult because it depends on light ingredients mostly olive oil and a few spices. I believe that what makes me happy

will make my clients happy as well, and that’s one reason why I choose my menu to be similar to what I eat, in addition to the fact that I am originally a fashion designer, I appreciate elegance and that’s why I insist on the presentation being stylish. How is Pier 88 different from any other night spot in Egypt? Personally, I believe it comes down to passion. My team is passionate about the place, the atmosphere and the kitchen. I love my job, meeting new people, and I look forward to getting introduced to my clients. I chit chat with them, get to know them and suggest dishes to try as well. What about the designs? Like I said, I had a very specific vision in mind and you could say that I am somewhat of a perfectionist, I am very into the details.I worked with Alchemy Designs for the interiors and from the onset I knew that I wanted everything to be black and gold with a touch of red. How do you see the market in the past few years? The market has been developing greatly! It’s not an easy job, but I aim to change people’s eating habits, which again I see as evolving with the new generation who are eager to try new things. What is your advice to young people who wish to start their career in the field? Believe in your dreams. At first, when I was in the fashion industry, I was criticized because I was going in a different direction, but I didn’t pay attention and continued to pursue my dream. I knew what I wanted and I insisted on achieving it. I like to create trends instead of following them.

Nespresso

Invites You to Enjoy a Deeper Taste of Brazil with New

Cafezinho Do Brasil

Limited Edition

In Brazil, coffee is deeply ingrained within everyday life – it’s a warm welcome from a stranger, a gossip in the local café and a sharing of business proposals. A ‘cafezinho’ or ‘small coffee’ in Brazilian Portuguese is almost a synonym for ‘welcome’ with the offer of coffee made the moment one enters a household or business, creating an instant personal connection over this treasured beverage. Inspired by the rich, colourful and vibrant Brazilian coffee culture, the experts at Nespresso have created Cafezinho do Brasil, a unique and powerful Limited Edition Grand Cru. LOUNGE 46

Set to transport your tastebuds to the pulsing centre of a thriving Brazilian town, Cafezinho do Brasil has been designed to reflect the best sensorial qualities of a Brazilian cafezinho. The Nespresso team spoke with locals to discover the flavour and aromas associated with their ideal cafezinho. Building on these local preferences and taking inspiration from the nation’s deep coffee culture, the coffee connoisseurs at Nespresso developed a powerful coffee that captures the essence of cafezinho in an espresso. Alexis Rodriguez, Head of Coffee Development at Nespresso, explained, “The Brazilian locals taught us that the preferred coffee profile had bitterness, roasted notes and a very distinctive aroma. In order to capture these notes, identified by Nespresso as walnut, sandalwood and herbal, we carefully selected Arabica beans from Southern Brazil. It is in the state of Espirito Santo, near the sea, that the air has a high level of humidity which helps to develop these special notes within the coffee cherries. We worked closely with the farmers who handpicked the coffee beans which specifically carried the distinctive notes.” As with all Nespresso Grands Crus, careful and considered sourcing was an essential factor when developing Cafezinho do Brasil. It is a Pure Origin coffee which means that all of the coffee has been sourced from Brazil. Agronomists from Nespresso worked alongside the farmers, discussing their current practices and demonstrating a specific Arabica harvesting technique to strip only the ripe beans without letting them come into contact with any earth to retain the particular flavour needed for Cafezinho do Brasil.

CAFEZINHO DO BRASIL FLAVOUR PROFILE A pleasantly bitter blend of select Arabica beans from Southern Brazil is enhanced by pulped natural, sweet Bourbon. A velvety textured cup with an unexpected walnut and sandalwood aroma, and unusual herbal notes reminiscent of thyme or rosemary. Intensity: 9 Serving size: Espresso (40ml) Cafezinho Do Brasil can also be enjoyed with milk: Adjust the coffee serving size to 25ml to create a delicious cappuccino that is a sweet sensation of salty, bitter and toasted notes reminiscent of salted peanuts. Or, add 40ml of coffee to 100ml of frothed milk to create a Latte Macchiato with sweet, round walnut notes and a light smoky aftertaste. Each year Nespresso creates eagerly anticipated limited edition coffees to deliver new sensory pleasures to some of the world’s most discerning coffee lovers. The latest Limited Edition, Cafezinho do Brasil is set to offer an intense, distinctive and velvety coffee experience that transports the senses deep into the heart of Brazil. Cafezinho do Brasil will be available for a limited period from Nespresso boutiques worldwide, as well as through orders from the Nespresso Customer Care Centres and online at www.buynespresso.com, from 15th September 2016.

Surround yourself with pictures of the people you love and matter to you the most, be it your partner, baby and/or your parents, put them in a frame and keep them in front of you the whole day. Make yourself a detox drink, finding a detox bottle is very handy, which you can find easily in big supermarkets. You deserve to drink a refreshing beverage that makes you feel better from the inside out. Manage your time, time management is the key to any successful lady. So, start the day off with sorting the task you are supposed to finish today with a time frame. Reward yourself whenever you finish a task at work with a comforting drink or munch on Sunbites.

Change your posture while sitting in front of the computer screen. Stretching your body can do wonders and protect you from a lot of damages that might affect your spinal cord on the long term.

Plan your vacations ahead, knowing early in the month that you will be spending the last weekend on the beach will make you long to that day so hard, and daydream about it, which will always lift your mood up. Sleep well before heading to the office, no matter how staying up late is so tempting even if ‘Legends of the Fall’ is on, make it a rule that you will never go to bed after 12 AM, you will be doing your skin and under eye circles a great favour, and don’t forget to wear your night cream. Plan for your Sunbites ahead. Always carry with you Sunbites to avoid the starvation that might fit you in the middle of the day, where you might have to settle for less and accept the first unhealthy snack you face. Thanks to the new generous size of Sunbites, you can carry it around with you as it comes in 2 different sizes that will definitely accommodate your needs, and you can choose your favourite flavour from tomato, sweet chilli, butter and herbs, cheese, olives and oregano.

9 10

Drink water, a lot of water will make you feel fresh and healthy.

A comfortable body starts with pampering your feet so, massage and try to choose the most comfy practical shoes, and try to avoid high heels if possible. Take a night off and go get pampered at one of the booths that Sunbites is holding, get your nails done, hair braided all while you relax on a massage chair in City Stars this weekend.
