Housing for Heroes
Oak Park Ave
COMPLETED
Built a three-bedroom transitional housing residence to serve veterans experiencing homelessness in partnership with the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV) and Lennar in North Minneapolis. This build project is the Foundation’s twelfth Housing for Heroes project in the metro area and will provide muchneeded housing for veteran families experiencing homelessness.

Irving Ave
Our thirteenth Housing for Heroes project on Irving Ave included three bedrooms and an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU). This one home can serve up to 512 veterans over 50 years. We celebrated the completion of all three Housing for Heroes homes in 2024 with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Irving Ave home in October.

This home marks the fourteenth Housing for Heroes project in partnership with the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV) and Lennar. This home was completed in November 2024. In total, our three 2024 Housing for Heroes homes add 10 more beds and over 5,550 square feet of new housing for veterans in need.
