About the Cover: After several years of missing Red Bull Flying day, the fun-filled, gravity defying event is back. Contestants have already submitted their sketches, and the best were chosen and are currently building their flying machines, which will launch from Marina Beach on April 18. This issue’s cover celebrates the brave souls who are building spectacular contraptions, the community that will cheer for their victory and Red Bull’s continued support for the people who are always willing to go further and farther than everyone else.

I don’t see any April showers on the horizon, but since I’m forever the optimist, I still fully expect to see lots of May flowers! I must admit though, it’s getting harder and harder to be optimistic about much anymore, with the never-ending grief coming out of Gaza, but what can we, mere mortals really do, except pray for an ending to the violence, and pray that those directly and indirectly responsible for the carnage and genocide, one day pay the price, since as we all know, karma is a lovely lady.

Our latest April issue might help take your mind off things. Our wonderful community of people have always been a remarkable source of optimism. Whether it’s their kindness, ingenuity, or ability to turn dreams into reality, conversations with them never fail to inspire. This month, we sit down with Saleel and Farah, the dynamic hosts of the ItsFareel podcast, where no topic is offlimits. From airwaves to acrylics, we also meet Dalal Boresli, an artist known for her one-of-a-kind customizations. Discover how she found her calling and why she believes art still matters. Farah and Saleel On Authenticity, Humor, And Podcasting Success

If you’ve ever found yourself craving real, unfiltered conversations that feel like you’re hanging out with your best friends, It’s Fareel is the podcast for you. Co-hosts Saleel and Farah bring humor, honesty, and a whole lot of personality to the mic, discussing everything from pop culture to personal growth. We sat down with them to talk about how their show came to life, what keeps them going, and why staying real is their number one priority.

Farah and Saleel, have been besties since highschool despite having completely different personalities. During college they were separated, but the distance and time had nothing on these young ladies, and when they reunited years later, their friendship was just as strong.

Despite being remarkable podcasters, neither of them works in or studied something related to media. They’re both engineers by education, Saleel works in the Oil and Gas private sector, while Farah has built a career in the wellness industry as a freelance yoga instructor and owner of the wellness brand OG Apothecary.

They both always wanted to start a own podcast, separately, but kept pushing it and postponing, because of life, COVID and everything going on for both of them. In 2023 they went on a trip to Bahrain,

and Saleel’s husband noticed them endlessly talking about everything and nothing while bickering in good fun, mentioned it and the idea of starting a podcast together was born. Farah decided that 2024 was the year, on New Year’s Eve and within two weeks she had already found and booked the studio to film their first episode.

The podcast’s name is both their names combined, Farah and Saleel = Fareel while they always do keep it “for real”. Episodes are mostly in English but do contain some Arabic and the besties start off on a topic, forget that the camera is there and keep going. We’ve learned that Saleel is very nonchalant and hates socks with slides while Farah loves pranks.

Saleel, despite never having hosted a podcast before, always found herself drawn to interviews or

appearing in front of the camera, often dreaming of being on Marina FM 88.8. Farah, on the other hand, delved deep into the world of podcasting back in 2019, learning everything there was to know about the medium, though she didn’t put those skills to use until now. Both women had spent a significant amount of time in front of the camera, which is obvious in how comfortable they look in every episode.

Farah and Saleel decided on a diverse format for their podcast to avoid limiting themselves to a specific topic. They talk about anything and everything while keeping it real, light, and relatable. When deciding on guests, they look for talented individuals, pioneers in their fields, or simply interesting and cool people. The preparation for episodes varies depending on whether they have a guest. With guests, they require

more preparation, whereas episodes with just the two of them are more casual and involve chatting about topics or trending subjects they find interesting, such as news, music, food, and more. They never use a script and aim to keep their conversations as real and authentic as possible.

Their audience’s feedback has been positive but viewers have greatly enjoyed the carpool edition episodes, the Interesting Animal Facts segment or as Saleel would call it Omariya segment and there is a growing fanclub for Farah’s laugh.

It’s not always fun and games though, they have had to deal with many mishaps, whether it is the mics not working or bad lighting, they have learned to adapt, find solutions and keep going, because the show must go on after all. Their advice to anyone who’s on the fence about start their own podcast is to not wait for the right time, just start. It doesn’t have to be perfect. According to Farah and Saleel, you just need to establish a location for your podcast with good lighting and equipment and to ALWAYS CHECK THAT THE MIC IS WORKING!!!

Saleel loves podcasting because it allows her to experience and get exposed to many new things and people. Farah, on the other hand, always looks forward to filming days as they get to discuss a wide range of interesting topics and meet amazing individuals. She particularly enjoys that the podcasting atmosphere is always casual and conversational, whether it be just the two of them or with a guest.

Not all podcasts include video, but the ladies chose to film their episodes because they want to show their audience real reaction. Saleel explains that she is a visual person and loves Farah’s facial expressions while Farah loves seeing host’s reactions and wanted their audience to be able to have that. The medium helps show their dynamic and personalities more.

The duo appreciates the growth of podcasting in Kuwait, which spans medical, social, cultural, and spiritual topics—truly offering something for everyone. Looking ahead, they believe podcasting will continue to thrive if it remains genuine, entertaining, relatable, and engaging. Their dream guests include the Saleel’s CEO, who she says is talented and humble, while Farah has a secret long list of global figures that she would love to collaborate with.

If you’re not sure which episode to start with, they both mentioned the third episode as their favorite. It’s the third one and they both get to experience some interesting and exotic fruits together.

The PCC’s Visionary Lab residency program first launched in 2023 with a focus on identity, welcoming artists Dana Al Rashid and Mohammed Al Hemd. Their works, ranging from miniature digital art to large-scale installations exploring Kuwaiti folklore, demonstrated how residency programs serve as catalysts for deep artistic research. The following year, artists Razan Al Sarraf and Adel Ashkanani explored the theme of connection—Razan mapping the aerial history of Hawally, while Adel transformed nostalgia into tangible marble pieces.

This year’s residency embraces the theme of “Ephemerality,” inviting artists Salem Al Salem and Hussain Alkazemi to explore the transient nature of art, materials, and memory. Their works challenge traditional notions of permanence and preservation, questioning the role of impermanence in today’s digital and physical worlds.

Residencies offer artists a rare and valuable gift: time and space to create without constraints. PCC’s residency program provides emerging artists with the opportunity to delve deeply into research, experiment with new forms, and engage in artistic dialogues that shape their work. As curator Shahad Bishara from Visual Therapy explains, “ The past residencies have demonstrated how working under a specific theme can be so powerful and meaningful. It really allows the artists to delve deep into the research stage of the creative process, which for us at PCC, is an integral part of the residency. With all our residents, we try to really emphasize the importance of research when making art, and hope that resonates with them in their future projects.”

Beyond the creative process, residencies foster collaboration, connecting artists with one another and with the larger community. The residency includes public engagement through Open Studio sessions, allowing audiences to witness works in progress, interact with the artists, and gain insight into the artistic journey.

This year’s resident artists have taken unique approaches to interpreting the theme of ephemerality.

For Salem Al Salem, ephemerality is deeply intertwined with technology. “I was drawn to this residency because it gave me the freedom to explore fleeting moments in sound and music. In a world where digital advancements reshape our perception of time and memory, I want to challenge

the idea of permanence through compositions that self-destruct or change unpredictably,” he explains. Salem is a Kuwaiti musician and visual artist whose work blends sound and visuals to create immersive, multi-sensory experiences. By manipulating specific frequencies, vibrations, and sonic textures. He translates sound into a visual language of colors and shapes that reflect the music’s essence. Salem’s work

integrates generative composition and interactive soundscapes, creating an experience that resists being frozen in time. “This residency has deepened my exploration of the impermanence of sound in a hyper-documented digital era. We live in a time where everything is archived, stored, and replayed endlessly, yet digital technology itself is fragile— files get corrupted, formats become obsolete, and memory, both human and digital, is unreliable. This paradox has shaped my approach to composition in ways I hadn’t fully considered before. I’ve been experimenting with sound as a fleeting entity, using techniques that introduce controlled degradation— glitch, distortion, and self-erasing audio layers— mirroring the way digital and organic memory erode over time. Rather than trying to create something fixed and permanent, I’ve started embracing the beauty of disappearance in my work,” he explains.

Hussain Alkazemi, on the other hand, is a multi-disciplinary designer, architect, and educator whose work and research span architectural history, furniture design, and cultural narratives. His creative practice is deeply rooted in exploring the intersection of form, function, and the sociocultural context of objects and spaces. “I saw this residency as an opportunity to expand my creative practice, particularly in the conceptual and experimental aspects of design,” Hussain shares. His work draws from historical temporary architecture from different geographic regions, to establish a universal theme, incorporating storytelling into contemporary furniture installations. “The feedback I’ve received during the open studio has been critical in shaping how I communicate ephemerality in my designs, as I’ve become even more intentional with my storytelling approach,” Hussain elaborates.

Beyond the tangible works produced, the residency program at PCC offers a transformative experience for its participants. “The best part about curating these residencies is seeing the artists’ initial proposals come to life, from paper to reality. Being part of that creative journey is incredibly exciting,” says Bishara.

As PCC continues to cultivate emerging artistic voices, its residency program stands as a testament to the power of nurturing creative expression. With each cycle, the centre reaffirms its commitment to fostering artistic innovation, inviting artists and audiences alike to engage with art that challenges perceptions, provokes thought, and ultimately, embraces the beauty of impermanence.

This residency is a funded opportunity for two Kuwait-based artists to be in residence at the Promenade Culture Centre over a two-month period. Red Bull gives you wings, literally, if you’re willing to build them for the Red Bull Flying Day. The excitement is building as Red Bull Flying Day 2025 approaches. Last month, the top 40 teams were selected to compete in this thrilling event in Kuwait. We got a sneak peek into some of the sketches and we’re totally awed. Their creative and ambitious plans have earned them a spot in the competition, and we can’t wait to see the final products soaring (or not).

Judging Criteria

On the event day, teams will be evaluated on:

• Creativity: How unique and original is their flying machine?

• Team Performance: How well do they entertain the crowd?

• Flight Distance: How far can they fly above the water?

Teams were chosen based on creativity, feasibility, diversity, and their designs’ expected ability to fly. The chosen teams are now in the Building Phase, which started on February 12 and will continue until April 15. This phase is crucial as they bring their imaginative designs to life in preparation for the ultimate test on April 18 at Marina Beach.

• First Place: A trip to Hangar-7 Museum and a helicopter ride in Salzburg,

• Second Place: An exclusive Red Bull Racing garage tour at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

• Third Place: A skydiving experience in Al Khairan, Kuwait, with a Red Bull athlete.

Dalal’s artistic journey started young, thanks to the keen eye of her mother, who was also an artist. “My mother discovered my talent,” she recalls. “Because she was an artist, it helped me develop my growth.” This early encouragement led to a moment in the spotlight when Dalal was featured on Mama Anissa, a television show that highlighted talented kids. “Being on the show made me realize that art was something special to me,” she says. “And my passion for colors only made that talent grow.”

For Dalal, color is more than just a visual choice—it’s a source of energy, a storyteller in its own right. “Each color has a different meaning,” she explains. “Red represents energy and abundance, while gold symbolizes precious ideas.” This philosophy breathes life into her work, allowing her audience to connect with her pieces on a deeper level.

Dalal’s versatility as an artist is evident in the wide range of materials she works with. From traditional canvases to unconventional surfaces like shoes and handbags, she finds joy in experimentation. But if she had to pick a favorite? “Acrylic colors,” she says without hesitation. “They have high resistance and provide a quality that truly satisfies me as an artist.”

Despite her many creations, Dalal doesn’t play favorites when it comes to her art. “There is no single favorite piece,” she explains. “Every painting is made with the same love and passion.” But there’s still one dream project she has yet to bring to life: “I would love to create a painting on a sports car.”

One of Dalal’s most recognized collections is her Dollar Series, a striking exploration of wealth and progress. “With the way the world is moving, money is always a topic of discussion,” she says. “That inspired me to start the series.” And as the world continues to evolve, so does her art. “Every once in a while, I introduce a new theme, keeping things fresh and exciting.”

When it comes to choosing what to create, Dalal draws inspiration from the world around her. “Sometimes, I’m influenced by what’s happening globally,” she shares. “I write down ideas and then develop a plan to bring them to life.” Her approach is both spontaneous and structured, allowing creativity to flow while maintaining a clear artistic vision.

In today’s digital age, an artist’s reach isn’t limited to galleries—and Dalal has fully embraced the power of social media and has an impressive following. “I love social media because it’s my mirror to the world,” she says. “It’s the reason I am where I am today.” She believes all artists should maintain a presence online. “Being active helps us reach audiences who truly love art.”

As for those who attempt to replicate her work? Dalal takes it as the ultimate compliment. “Every person who tries to copy my art makes me happy,” she says with a smile. “It proves that I exist.”

If she could go back to the start of her career, Dalal wishes someone had advised her on how to promote her art effectively. “I had to figure that out on my own,” she says. But the best advice she ever received? “Believe in yourself.”

With her vibrant energy, fearless creativity, and unwavering passion, Dalal Boresly continues to make waves in the art world. And if there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s that her artistic journey is only just beginning.

The Midtown Factory, a pioneering beverages production facility at Dubai Industrial City, today launched the “Majlis Premium Arabian Ale”, the world’s first fully halal-brewed range of beverages.

This groundbreaking Arabian ale-based beverage has been produced as per healthy dietary guidelines. It gives a unique drinking experience to consumers hailing from different backgrounds. M/s Midtown Factory is developing new products and will introduce them to consumers this year.

The Midtown Factory exhibited the Majlis Premium Arabian Ale at the Taste of Dubai live food festival and Gulfood. The Majlis stand saw a busy day with visitors from different nationalities and ethnic groups who had a unique tasting experience. Following the hype up at the Dibba Bay Oyster Festival at the Taste of Dubai with the celebrity chef Jenny Morris, also known as the Giggling Gourmet, Majlis Premium Arabian Ale had a cooking demonstration. The visitors and guests had a chance to talk to the celebrity chef about the delectable Majlis Arabian Ale and its creators.

Crafted with meticulous care and adherence to halal guidelines, Majlis’ new beverage is brewed using a proprietary technique during the fermentation process that ensures the process remains alcoholfree from start to finish. Unlike traditional brewing methods that involve alcohol removal, Majlis has developed a unique approach that maintains the integrity of halal principles while preserving the authentic taste and complexity of a brewed beverage.

How a Passion for Health and Nutrition Led to a Thriving Business

Talking Greene is a series of discussions centered on the idea of sustainability in Kuwait, the group leading this movement, and locating tools to assist the general public in making wiser decisions. As a business owner in the same industry, I believe it is my responsibility to promote local organizations and individuals working to change the way we shop for goods and to increase environmental consciousness both domestically and abroad.

In this issue of Talking Greene, I speak to Dalal Beidoun, health coach and founder of Mylk Ma’am. Dalal’s journey from athlete to health-conscious mother to entrepreneur is a powerful reminder that food is medicine. Through Mylk Ma’am, she’s not only creating clean, nourishing products but also spreading awareness about the importance of gut health, real ingredients, and making informed choices for our families.

Her story is one of passion, resilience, and purpose, proving that sometimes, the biggest challenges lead us to our true calling.

Can you tell us about your background—where you studied and what you do?

I studied in London, where I completed my master’s in English Language Teaching. After returning to Kuwait, I started teaching at Kuwait University in CBA in 2009, and I’ve been working in education for 16 years now. Aside from teaching, I was a pro volleyball player on the national team for 10 years. So, health, wellness, and movement have always been a big part of my life. However, my real journey into nutrition started after I became a mother.

What made you shift your focus to health and nutrition?

When I had my first child, I realized there was so much about health and nutrition that I didn’t know. My son, Wael was lactose intolerant, but I didn’t understand why at first since he was drinking my milk, so how was dairy affecting him? I discovered that what I consumed was passing through my breast milk, causing colic and even traces of blood in his stool. Once I cut dairy from my diet, his symptoms disappeared, and I felt better too!

Is this when you started thinking about launching Mylk Ma’am?

Not immediately, but this was the turning point.

I had already started studying nutrition health coaching and becoming an expert in culinary nutrition which is a study on how food could heal diseases.

How did you launch your business?

It started super small. I made a list of 30-35 people, mostly friends and friend influencers, and sent them messages asking: “Almond or oat?

Sweetened or unsweetened?” I stayed up all night soaking and blending nuts, then spent the next morning delivering the bottles myself. All I asked, was for them to post and tag, and that’s where it all began.

When did you start expanding your product line?

As my knowledge of nutrition and gut health grew,

I knew I had to add probiotics to our everyday lifestyle. That’s when I developed our coconut yogurt which became one of Mylk Ma’am’s signature products.

How is your brand involved in sustainable business?

All my products are packaged in fully recyclable, clean packaging. We also have a return policy where you can give us back the bottles and jars for a free product. Plus they are recyclable glass and most of the packaging are made from Kraft products so that the consumer focuses more on the quality of the product rather than how it looks. I tend to also have zero waste products whenever I use my ingredients, especially when I am working with the leftovers of my “mylking” process.

Did your background in health coaching help with your business?

Absolutely! My studies in health coaching and culinary nutrition shaped everything I created. But as Mylk Ma’am grew, I had to make a choice—I couldn’t juggle health coaching, teaching, and running a business at the same time. It helped me also advice many other women, especially mothers, in the healthier choices to make when it comes to their kids. I also was able to join Nawi, which is their first ever Wellness Summit in Kuwait and was approached to do a class, so mine was about Eating for Hormonal Health, and it was a great success; I could not have been happier.

You kept your identity hidden at first—why was that?

I wanted the brand to speak for itself and not let it be about me, and I did so for about one year. But then, a social media expert told me: “Why aren’t you telling your story? Moms need to hear this!” and that changed everything. I wanted the brand to speak for itself and me being in the background as do many brands do. However, I realized it was not fair to my brand because what it really needed to get it to where it is now, is the awareness of all the lessons learnt along the way. I managed after a long time, thanks to exposure in outdoor markets in Kuwait, get myself more into the brand’s influence and being the face of Mylk Ma’am.

What was the next big step for Mylk Ma’am?

After putting myself out there, I knew I had to join events, expand our products, and build a real community. My goal is to educate and empower families through real, nourishing food. I want Mylk Ma’am to be more than a brand—it’s a movement.

The Dynaudio Confidence 20A are active versions of the Danish hi-fi brand’s Confidence 20 standmount loudspeakers. They have the same two-way design but have built-in amplification and digital signal processing (DSP), therefore streamlining the setup process — just add an audio source. Each Confidence 20A packs 550 watts of power, with 150 watts going to the tweeter and 400 to the mid/bass driver. Naturally, this power and sound comes at a cost. WAITING FOR IDEAS TURNTABLE PP-1

The PP-1 is the first turntable from Waiting For Ideas, a Paris-based design studio. It has a stunningly minimalist design crafted from a single block of aluminum and, most interestingly, lacks a tonearm. All its technology is hidden inside. To play a vinyl record, you place it upside down on the turntable and press the play button. The PP-1 has a built-in sensor that automatically detects the record speed (it supports 33 or 45 RPM) and plays the record accordingly. The brand also makes matching passive speakers designed to pair with the turntable.

BELKIN USB-C 11-IN-1 PRO GAN DOCK (150W)

Belkin’s compact USB-C docking station adds eleven ports—four USB-C, one USB-A, a 3.5mm in/out jack, SD and micro SD card slots, two HDMI 2.0, and a gigabit ethernet—to your MacBook. It’s a little beast, too, capable of dishing out 150 watts of power—96 watts for your laptop and the rest for your peripherals. It also has a built-in battery and thus doesn’t require a bulky power supply cable.

SIGMA BF

The Sigma BF is a gorgeous compact full-frame mirrorless camera with a 24.6-megapixel sensor and L-Mount lens compatibility. Its minimalist design features just four button controls and a dial, along with a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, and its body is milled from a single block of aluminum. Sigma has given the BF 13 different color shooting modes so photographers can achieve a specific aesthetic without post-processing. It lacks an SD card slot but has 230GB of internal memory instead. It comes in two finishes, black or silver, and will be available in April 2025.

NOTHING PHONE 3A AND 3A PRO

Nothing’s third-generation smartphones have a similar unique and transparent design as its predecessor, the Phone 2A, but boost revamped hardware, a new processor and upgraded cameras. Both smartphones have a new physical AI button for accessing Essential Space, a place for saving things like screenshots, other images and voice memos. Both the Phone 3A and 3A Pro are mostly similar, including having the same large 6.7-inch display, but the Pro has an extra lens (telephoto) and a more rounded rear camera bump.

OPTOMA PHOTON GO

The Optoma Photon Go is an affordable portable ultra-short-throw projector — a rarity for the category — that can deliver up to a 100-inch screen when placed roughly 10 inches from the wall. It can project a 1080p picture (so, no 4K) and is capable of 650 lumens of brightness. It also has a built-in Google TV operating system that gives you access to all your favorite streaming apps. Pricing and US availability has yet to be released, but it’s expected to cost just over a grand.

Championing Women’s Health and Wellness

From a young age, Dr. Sandra Geagea knew she was destined to be a doctor.

“I decided to call myself a doctor when I was 10 years old,” she recalls. “I liked to pretend to be a doctor, making my own concoctions and pretending to take care of my brother. It was always a dream.” Unlike many who follow in family footsteps, Dr. Geagea’s passion for medicine was selfdriven, leading her to a career dedicated to women’s health.

The OB/GYN is a firm advocate for preventive care, particularly in breast and cervical health. She frequently encounters misconceptions that prevent women from seeking early screening.

“Many women believe that if they have no family history of breast cancer, they don’t need a mammogram,” she explains. “But in reality, one in eight women is at risk, regardless of genetics. It’s crucial to start regular mammograms at 40, or earlier if a family member was diagnosed before 50.”

Similarly, cervical cancer screening is often overlooked. “Women often think a vaginal swab is the same as a Pap smear, but it’s not,” she clarifies. “Pap smears detect changes in the cervix before they become dangerous. Since cervical cancer is almost entirely acquired, not inherited, screening is essential for early detection and prevention.”

With a growing number of women delaying marriage and childbirth, fertility concerns have shifted. “We’re seeing decreased ovarian reserves even in teenagers and young adults who aren’t yet thinking about marriage or children,” Dr. Geagea notes. “Egg freezing has become a valuable option—it’s like an insurance policy for the future.”

She also highlights advancements in fertility treatments, including genetic testing of embryos to prevent recurrent miscarriages and the ability to select a baby’s sex. “These developments are transforming family planning and offering couples more choices than ever before.”

“Pregnancy management has progressed significantly,” Dr. Geagea says. “We can now predict complications like high blood pressure or fetal growth issues early in pregnancy and take preventive measures, such as using aspirin, to mitigate risks.”

For menopausal women, treatment options have vastly improved. “Hormone replacement

therapy (HRT) used to be controversial, but now we understand its benefits. Bioidentical hormones, which closely mimic natural hormones, have made HRT safer and more effective,” she explains. “There are also non-hormonal alternatives that ease menopause symptoms without the risks once associated with HRT.”

Dr. Geagea is particularly concerned about how diet and lifestyle choices are affecting young girls. “We’re seeing an alarming rise in early puberty, likely influenced by processed foods and hormone-laden meats,” she warns. “Obesity and unhealthy eating habits are disrupting hormonal balance in young children, leading to reproductive health issues later in life.”

She also stresses the importance of regular check-ups for young girls. “Once a girl reaches puberty, an annual ultrasound to monitor her uterus and ovaries is essential. Many young women have ovarian cysts that go undiagnosed.”

“Period pain isn’t always just ‘normal,’ and it’s important to differentiate between typical cramps and something more serious,” Dr. Geagea advises. “If the pain starts before menstruation, it could be endometriosis, which requires medical attention.”

She warns against waiting too long to take pain medication. “The biggest mistake women make is waiting until the pain becomes unbearable. Taking painkillers like ibuprofen or paracetamol at the first sign of bleeding is much more effective.”

Dr. Geagea sees a strong link between gut health and overall well-being. “What you eat directly affects your mental health, menstrual cycles, and reproductive health. Prioritizing a healthy diet, rich in fermented foods, can significantly improve hormonal balance and reduce PMS symptoms.”

Exercise is another key factor. “Even just 25 minutes of physical activity a day can improve reproductive health, regulate cycles, and boost mental resilience,” she says. “Our hormonal cycles affect our emotions and productivity, but we can counteract these effects with a healthy lifestyle.”

Dr. Geagea emphasizes the importance of regular health screenings:

• Pap Smear: “Starting at age 21, every sexually active woman should have a Pap smear every three years to detect cervical changes caused by HPV.”

• Mammograms: “By age 40, an annual mammogram is necessary, regardless of family history.”

• Pelvic Ultrasounds: “Young girls should have yearly ultrasounds once they reach puberty to monitor reproductive health.”

Dr. Geagea urges women to pay attention to warning signs, such as:

• New or severe period pain —especially if accompanied by nausea or vomiting.

• Pain unrelieved by common painkillers—which could indicate endometriosis or another serious condition.

• Unexplained pelvic pain—requiring immediate medical evaluation.
