You can further reduce input costs and improve operator comfort with intelligent Total Equipment Control. iTEC Pro integrates AutoTrac automatic steering and the implement management systems of 9R tractors to control tractor speed, 3-point linkage, PTO and SCVs, automatically turning the machine at the headlands and putting it back into work with little operator input.

Looks remarkable, feels roomy The spacious new CommandView III Cab is in a class of its own. The seat includes fore-aft and lateral attenuation and lumbar support. The exclusive John Deere ActiveSeat ensures a smooth ride on the road and in the field. Roof-integrated air-conditioning with high performance air flow and optional automatic temperature control is easily set from the armrest. You can keep a close watch on your work from any angle, thanks to the slender engine bonnet and wrap-around visibility of the anti-glare glass surfaces. Laminated glass, sound barrier and carpet floor mat improve the sound quality of the CommandView III Cab; heated leather seats and ACS provide best-in-class comfort. There’s plenty of storage space too. Thanks to Bluetooth connectivity you can benefit from the hands-free phone option. Other controls such as the radio shortcut buttons and the lights are also located on the CommandARM. Premium cab package Select the Premium cab package for additional comfort, including the seat bottom tilt and backrest extension. The package also includes a right hand wiper, right hand and rear sunshade, electric telescopic mirrors, special sound dampening materials, power strip with convenience plug adapter and onboard refrigerator.

Easy SCV control For convenience and ease of use, all SCVs can be operated via a mid-mount electro-hydraulic valve stack with paddle pod. The Generation 4 CommandCenter is the tractor’s central information system. Swivel the seat up to 40° and the CommandCenter will follow, so information is always in sight. The CommandCenter also allows you to programme settings and adjust the readings to a specific operation. Displays are an essential requirement for executing precision farming applications. Select the 4100 CommandCenter controls with a 7" touchscreen or the 4600 CommandCenter with a 10" touchscreen. They function just like a tablet: navigating through the options is simplified via menus, shortcuts and with context-sensitive help. Applications like AutoTrac and ISOBus can be operated directly via the CommandCenter. There are four high quality speakers and subwoofer available. The Premium radio also plays CDs and MP3s and supports USB as well as hands-free Bluetooth connectivity.

The John Deere HydraCushion (9R) and AirCushion Suspension System (9RT) adjust to changing ground conditions and require no programming for road or field applications. HydraCushion Suspension System John Deere’s HydraCushion Suspension System allows you to maintain a high level of productivity by minimising power hop. It maximises traction and reduces road bounce. HydraCushion Suspension System allows a better power transfer to the ground. It increases your performance when using larger implements while also improving efficiency by reducing the need for ballast compared with non-suspended machines. This hydraulically suspended front axle system is available on the 9520R and 9570R and is standard on the 9620R. AirCushion Suspension System The unique John Deere AirCushion Suspension System brings amazing comfort and increased speed to the 9RT Series tracked tractors. How? By cleverly isolating the track undercarriage from the tractor frame.

Communication is at the heart of every successful relationship Your operation is at your fingertips The agricultural web portal MyJohnDeere.com enables you to monitor and run your fleet of machines and manage your land – all from a central location. Go to the Operations Centre to allocate your equipment, track the work progress of your machines and view what they have achieved during the day. Using a USB stick or the new John Deere Wireless Data Transfer (WDT) you can also easily exchange information between the GreenStar 2630 display in the cab and your MyJohnDeere account, for example applied data, field boundaries, guidance lines and prescription maps. Go to JDLink to monitor how your machines perform in the field. For example, you can track your machine’s working hours and analyse detailed machine utilisation to identify productivity gaps or monitor fuel consumption to improve fuel efficiency and cut costs. With strength comes responsibility The 13.5 L PowerTech PSS engine unleashes up to 572 hp at 1900 rpm. You can get even more power with the Cummins QSX 15L engine (9570R and 9620R) delivering up to 670 hp at 1900 rpm. The turbocharger and high pressure common-rail fuel system ensure that you get the power you need, when you need it. The high capacity VariCool cooling system and air-to-air after-cooling further improve engine performance. The engines will meet the Stage IV emission standard: EGR: Cooled exhaust gas recirculation Cooled EGR lowers peak combustion temperatures and reduces nitrogen oxides (NOx).
The diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) and diesel particulate filter (DPF) remove the tiniest particles.
Selective catalytic reduction (SCR) The combined use of EGR and SCR systems allows John Deere 9R Series engines to meet Stage IV emission standards while using less diesel exhaust fluid (DEF/AdBlue) compared to other SCR solutions. This means the DEF tank can be smaller while also extending DEF tank service intervals and reducing operator involvement. Exhaust filters remove even the smallest particles The diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) and diesel particulate filter (DPF) used with John Deere PowerTech PSS and Cummins QSX engines remove particles down to 2.5 µm.

You might forget you’re pulling heavy implements John Deere 9R and 9RT Series tractors offer e18 Transmission with Efficiency Manager: 18 forward and 6 reverse gears and a choice of Full AUTO, Custom and Manual modes. Power delivered with ease and precision. e18 Transmission can shift gears automatically to maintain engine ground speed, relieving the operator from shifting during significant load changes in the field and transport. This performance-enhancing feature is exclusive to John Deere tractors. The operator sets the maximum speed and the transmission will shift depending on the load to reach the set speed at minimum engine rpm.
e18 Transmission with Efficiency Manager offers a choice of Full AUTO, Custom and Manual modes with Eco function.
If the operator wants full manual control, the automatic PowerShift feature can be shut off by depressing a touch pad on the CommandCenter or manually shifting the transmission with the shift control lever on the CommandARM. Perfectionism isn’t just an ability, it’s an attitude The John Deere 9R and 9RT Series tractors make it easy to deliver the right amount of power for any application. They provide up to eight selective control valves (SCVs) and power up to an incredible 435 L/min to drive even the largest seeding and planting implements at reduced rpm.
With the high flow option you can look forward to amazing performance even at low engine speeds. What’s more, the high capacity hydraulic filters last for 1500 hours, saving precious time and money.
The hydraulics are easy to manage from the intuitive on-screen controls and can be operated via paddle pod. Simple engineering is the key to this power, flexibility and reliability: fewer parts, fewer connections and shorter hydraulic lines than in other machines.
Optional three-point hydraulic hitch with automatic draft sensing gives you extra traction and consistency when using heavy equipment in difficult conditions. Four options are available with the adjustable Quick Coupler for 6940 kg and 9072 kg.
