Soft, cotton cheesecloth is highly absorbent and leaves a minimum of lint, making it the perfect selection for final finishing. Used primarily for applying padding lacquers. Closely woven cheesecloth (similar weave to a baby diaper) also excels at wipe on polyurethane and varnish topcoats. Approximately 18" x 18" precut pieces. Medium woven cheesecloth (slightly looser weave) comes in bolts approximately 36" wide x 60 yards long, allowing you to cut to length. Loosely woven cheesecloth (best for faux finishing and fine polishing) includes approximately 100 pre-cut 10"W x ± 20" lengths, carefully wound around a cardboard tube.
