Kevin Costner and Modern West: Tales from Yellowstone Tour

A

ctor Kevin Costner proves his versatility as a member of the rock / country band he founded, Kevin Costner & Modern West. The group began a worldwide tour in October 2007, which included shows in Istanbul and Rome. The band released their debut country album, “Untold Truths,” in 2008 on Universal South Records. The album peaked at #61 on the Billboard Top Country Albums, and three singles (“Superman 14”, “Long Hot Night” and “Backyard”) have been released to radio. Videos have been made for “Superman 14,” “Backyard” and “Hey Man What

About You.” In 2009, the band went on tour again and they were joined by special guest group, The Alternate Routes. In February 2010 Costner and his bandmates released their sophomore album, “Turn It On only in Europe,” followed by a European tour which has allowed them to chart in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Greece. The first single from the album, “Let Me Be the One,” with guest singer Sara Beck, was also presented as a music video. Costner may be an accomplished actor, but he demonstrates that he’s also well worth listening to.
