Siegel Celebrates Beethoven Keyboard Conversations

eyboard Conversations with Jeffrey Siegel combine the virtuosity and poetry of a world-class pianist with entertaining commentary to create a magical concert experience—and he will return to the McCallum Theatre to present Celebrating Beethoven at 7 p.m., Monday, February 7. Siegel’s lively, engaging insights and captivating performances make listening an enthralling experience for all music lovers. Some of Beethoven’s most famous compositions will be featured, including the beloved “Moonlight Sonata,” the humorous “Rage Over a Lost Penny,” and the “Farewell Sonata.” (Who was leaving, and why was Beethoven so deeply affected?) Keyboard Conversations is a brilliantly polished concertwith-commentary series that combines captivating comments with virtuoso performances of piano masterpieces.
