The Hungarian hunting experience is world renowned for its premium quality service on behalf of thousands of hunters each year. Wildlife managers and outfitters have helped to preserve an elite environment for optimal growth and maintenance of world class specimens that has yielded legendary game stock proportions in quality and scope. The world class game trophies gleaned from exquisite Hungarian hunting grounds throughout the country is no accident. As a result of careful and responsible conservational monitoring, every hunter is privy to a hunting environment at its finest. Our hunting guests are welcome to hunt year round per seasonal stock on 8.3 million hectares (20.5 million acres) of beautiful land. Exquisite quality can be found across the hunting spectrum of the Hungarian Big 5 in both Free Range and fenced areas throughout the magnificent Hungarian countryside. Red Deer, Fallow Deer, Roe Deer, Wild Boar, and Mouflon are hunted in large quantities and made available in contiguous free range areas that bring to life hundreds of years of the famous Hungarian traditions. Individually or by prearranged groups, our hunting expeditions will prove a unique experience for a lifetime. A 130 year old tradition of game management and the love of the hunt lives in the most compelling of European traditions. Alive and well in the 21st century, Hungarians have ensured an unparalleled experience with stellar facilitation, accommodations, and game preserves that have given the Hungarian Hunt it’s reputation. Our hunting records are simply unparalleled and our reputation well earned.

Hungary Culture and relaxation This is a land with a 1000-year-old history and a unique fusion of Eastern and Western cultures. This is a land where the River Danube flows through one of the most beautiful capitals in the world. This is a land where rejuvenating thermal springs run just below the surface. This is a land called Hungary! Cosmopolitan Budapest – The ’Pearl of Danube’ is the perfect destination for culture and entertainment. In addition, visitors will be captivated by its delightful gastronomy, beautiful architecture, relaxing spas and diverse nightlife. The majestic Buda Castle, the impressive Parliament building, world-famous baths are just a few of the city’s highlights. Budapest
The list of attractions goes well beyond the capital. Visit enchanting cities, small towns and villages, and allow the romance of the Danube Bend to capture your imagination. The country takes pride in its ten national parks, eight UNESCO World Heritage Sites and the largest freshwater lake in Central Europe, Lake Balaton. Next to Balaton is Hévíz, which is Central Europe’s biggest thermal lake. Strewn with water lilies, it is open all year round, and is famous for its healing properties and for promoting general well-being. If you travel south of Pannonia you’ll reach the city of Pécs, which was selected as European Capital of Culture for 2010. 32 www.hungary.com The Hévíz medicinal lake

The cultural influences of east and west can be seen in the monuments, traditions and everyday life of today’s Hungary. Remains of the Roman Empire and a few monuments from the 150-year Ottoman occupation survive, and visitors can still take a dip in a couple of original Turkish baths in Budapest. Small medieval churches and splendid basilicas, hilltop fortresses and magnificent palaces, all bear witness to an eventful history. You can get a real flavor of Hungary past and present by tasting the culture in its galleries and museums. Furthermore, there are clues all around in the country’s architecture. A single street can take you on a journey through several centuries; Hungary contains examples from a host of architectural periods, including Roman ruins, medieval castles, Baroque palaces, Art-Nouveau mansions and cutting-edge contemporary buildings. There are the remains of ancient castles and centuries old country houses all around Hungary, and over 50 of these have been converted into elegant hotels where you can enjoy historic charm and aristocratic luxury while making use of the facilities and comforts you’d expect from 21st-century accommodation. Hungary has a proud equestrian tradition, and there remain many opportunities to explore the country on four legs. Hungary’s relatively flat countryside, and particularly its network of wetlands and rivers, is ideal for riding tours and many hotels and country clubs offer riding facilities.
