The months of January and February have been very eventful for the little kindergarteners as they were immersed in competitions and sports-based activities. I Headmistress’s Message would like to admire the efforts of all my staff members who have shown remarkable dedication to their work and made it possible to achieve all the targets. Red Day Pre-Nurseries celebrated Red day on 14th February, 2011.Glinting red colour brightened the whole atmosphere. The tiny tots were wearing red dresses and had decorated their block with red balloons and red accessories.

Nurseries organized a mini sports day on 11th February, 2011. All eight sections planned games and races to make the environment more thrilling and rousing.

Nurseries Sound Check Competition An inter-class sound check competition was held through out the week. The Nursery children were assessed on the criteria of letter name, its sound, action, vocabulary and blending of three letter words. The results were outstanding and we got a clear picture of the outcome of language and literacy lessons going on in the classes. The Results are as followed:

Millad In accordance with the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awal a milaad was arranged in the school to pay a tribute to our Holy Prophet S.A.W. Teachers and children participated in the milaad with a great religious valour.
Field Trips To Farm House We plan to have a Project Based Learning program on Cow to Calcium, and for the better understanding of the pupils we arranged field trips to a farm house. The children were intrigued by the animal’s distinctive habits and gained first hand knowledge of animal behaviour. These trips were a source of recreation and learning by observing process for children. All three levels-Nursery, Pre-Nursery and KGs got a chance to visit dairy farms

Spring Jamboree On 7th March, 2011 this cheerful and enchanting event began with the release of balloons. Students of KG presented marvellous events which were appreciated with thunderous applause. The Spring Jamboree had the following events. Ballet Dance Spectra P-T Drill Music

Saviors Oath-Taking Ceremony “No real social change had ever been brought about without a revolution Revolution is but thought carried into action�- Emma Goldman. The environmental saviors were selected amongst all sections. They took oath in specially organized ceremony and promised to discharge their duties and responsibilities that they were expected to perform.
English Handwriting Competition KGs showed great confidence and responsibility in following Nelson Script. The rationale behind this activity was to develop neat and legible handwriting.
Morning Presentations Morning presentations are a regular feature. Everyday students present various items, skits, songs before the entire school which helps in developing their presentation skills and confidence.

Make it a daily routine to exchange views with your child about the day he/she had spent at school. Take interest in the day’s activity and demonstrate enthusiasm and motivation. Provide your child with a variety of colourful books and encourage him/her to read the text inside it. Read the books together with your child and listen to their questions.
