Greetings!
We thank the Almighty God that our academic session 2022-23 has come to an end in what has been a tremendously rewarding year!
Despite all of the many challenges, our students and teachers have persevered together and grown stronger as a result. This year has seen students from across our school participate in an extraordinary number of curricular and extra-curricular activities, through which they have demonstrated outstanding levels of engagement, creativity and resilience.
With an Outstanding Cambridge Learner Award for Top in World, we congratulate our student Nawal Waseem and her parents. We also congratulate her teacher Mr Saeed Mahmood for offering his wisdom in helping her achieve this remarkable feat. Another remarkable achievement worth mentioning is the recognition of our students’ project in the National Geographic Slingshot Video Challenge Uneeb Zafar, Abdullah Shahid, Moeed Rizwan, Mujtaba Nadeem and Usman Kashif have not only made their teacher Ms Khadija Khan proud but are also a source of pride for all of us as a school community.
As we wind down the year, I would like to take this opportunity to wish our grade XI students a fond farewell and success as they move on to academic and extra-curricular opportunities in College.
As we prepare for the next school year, we are excited to welcome our incoming grade VIII students.
I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank all students, parents, families and staff members who have supported the ongoing work of our leadership and teaching teams this year and wish them a safe, restful and rewarding summer.
Hopefully, we will all get the opportunity to spend quality time with family and friends and come back to school with a sense of rejuvenation in the next session.

Farewell Note
I write this farewell note with a heavy heart that I bid adieu to this wonderful institution that has been my second home for the past four years. However, I am also filled with immense pride and joy as I reflect upon the many achievements that we have accomplished together.
During my tenure as the School Head, we have witnessed the school grow and flourish into a vibrant and dynamic community Together, we have created a campus that has left an indelible mark in the community.Our commitment to providing a holistic education
has been reflected in the many academic and co-curricular accolades that our students have achieved.
The vibrant culture of the school, the many celebrations and events that we have shared together and the memories that we have created will forever be etched in my heart I am grateful for the constant support of the parents who have placed their trust in us and for the professionalism and dedication of the faculty and staff who have worked tirelessly to provide the best education possible to our students.
It has been an honour and privilege to work with such a dedicated and passionate team of professionals. Meet and Greet for Grade VIII

Beaconhouse Bahria Town, Senior Campus hosted the much-anticipated meet and greet session for grade VIII students on Friday 12th August, 2022. The class teachers and subject teachers welcomed the parents and students enthusiastically followed by a detailed discussion for the new session
Defence Day

To commemorate the valiant services rendered by the martyrs of the War of 1965, Beaconhouse Bahria Town, Senior Campus organised a special programme in which retired armed forces officers were invited to enlighten the student body with their intrepid experiences. The highlights of this auspicious occasion included a special guard of honour, an informative and edifying talk by Colonel Amjad Khan ( Retd), Major Syed Bilal Haider (Retd) and Major Taimoor ul Hameed ( Retd), the sharing of memorable riveting moments of their service and the melodious national songs sung by Awais Ali..the alumni of Beaconhouse.
Independence Day
The 75th Independence Day of Pakistan was celebrated enthusiastically at Beaconhouse Bahria Town, Senior Campus. Class XI Spring organized a thriving assembly to pay homage to our motherland Students delivered some thoughtful messages regarding Pakistan's sovereignty and prosperity.



Election Campaign


Beaconhouse Bahria Town, Senior Campus organized the Council Election with full zeal and zest. It was a detailed procedure. Initially, interviews and written tests to shortlist the candidates of the candidates were conducted by the School Management Then eloquent and compendious speeches were delivered by the shortlisted candidates for the executive posts in a special assembly. Finally, through online voting, the Executive Council was elected

Oath Taking Ceremony

The new Student Council members took an oath at Beaconhouse Bahria Town, Senior Campus to truly and consciously manifest and uphold the good name of the school at all times and strive for academic excellence by perseverance, boundless energy, and unwavering dedication. The Council members promised to maintain strong character and moral principles based on mutual respect and understanding and to never allow harshness, hostility, animosity, or prejudice to intrude into their emotions.
Child Protection Session

Beaconhouse Bahria Town, Senior Campus values the safety and security of their students. An interactive Child Protection Session was conducted by CPC member Ms Ayesha Puri for Grade VIII students. Separate sessions were conducted for boys and girls, where they had the liberty to share their sentiments and feelings. These students appreciated the much-needed session.
Bake Sale Fundraiser
Together We Can !
Alone we can do so little: Together we can do so much.
The philanthropic Beaconites of Bahria Town, Senior Campus firmly believe in these golden words of Helen Keller and showed its practical example by organising a bake sale for flood victims on 8th September, 2022 in the school premises.
The food stalls were set up and a handsome amount was collected as a result of efficacious teamwork thus proving that Beaconites will always help their fellow citizens in time of need

Teachers' Day


The celebrations of Teachers’ Day, can never be completed without a smile on every teacher’s face. The day commenced with an array of motivation. The emotional feelings of the mentors had unlimited boundaries on their special day. The School Administration and a few council members prepared the ground for a massive show that demonstrated the competitive and cooperative side of teachers. A tribute to the teachers was immaculately presented by the students of Beaconhouse Bahria Town, Senior Campus.

Above and Beyond!
The Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony for the Academic Session 2021-2022 was celebrated festively at the Beaconhouse Bahria Town Senior Campus. The esteemed School Administration, the proud parents and the academic high achievers were welcomed Ms Aisha Khurram, the Vice President of the Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industry and CEO of Fabrina, graced the occasion as a chief guest who presented the medals, shields and certificates to the prodigious students

BSS Birthday

With the increasing number of lives, it touches every year, our students, and council paid tribute to Beaconhouse School System, for framing their individual personalities into what they are today. Heartfelt messages were shared by the students. The cakecutting ceremony was carried out by the Student Council and the management.
Professional Development

Developing Reflective Practitioners is a five day professional development course, facilitated by Beaconhouse Head office. A group of experienced teachers from Cluster 8 attended this course tutored by Ms. Ayesha Puri. This course supported teachers to reflect and learn from their experiences as well as construct new knowledge and apply it in their classroom practices.

Cultural Food Gala
Our Grade IX students organized a spectacular cultural food gala on January 27, 2023 for foodies and culture enthusiasts! . The event was judged by our esteemed School Head Ms. Samana Imam, Headmistress Ms. Shamaila Rizwan, Senior Mistress Ms. Maryam Makhdoom, and Coordinator Sir Saeed Mahmood


The classrooms were beautifully decorated to showcase the vibrant culture of Punjab, and the highlight of the event was the delicious Punjabi cuisine. Guests enjoyed mouth-watering dishes like lassi, saag, gur walay chawal, aaloo kay parathay, and halwa. After much deliberation, the judges announced IX Spring as winner of the Cultural Food Gala.
Dignity Week
Ethos distinguishes the character, sentiment, morale, and beliefs of a person, group, or institution. Dignity is an essential feature of Beaconhouse Learner’s Profile and celebrating Dignity Week is a regular feature This year dignity week BBTC Sr. started with video casting on ‘What is dignity?’, followed by a heartwarming session by Presidential Award Winner, Ms. Ismat Riaz. Global Perspectives team, ‘The Dignity Ambassadors’ organised ‘Digni-Tea’ for grandparents With a little silver in their hair and gold in their heart, our honoured guests left students and teachers spellbound with their anecdotes
Expressions of dignity were shared through Eisel Art Competition and Dignity themed sculptures. Thank you letters and interviews of the custodian staff with a Dignity Day Assembly appended to the celebrations



Environmental Week

Environmental Awareness Week was celebrated at Beaconhouse Bahria Town Campus. Various activities were organized





A focus group discussion was organized.
Mr. Moazam Nazir, Manager Operations, TDCP graced the occasion as the Guest Speaker In an engaging conversation with the students, he shared how Pakistan has great potential for ecotourism Mr Moazam stressed the need to make responsible choices such as group tours, support conservation, protect wildlife and be respectful to the local communities.
Students of Grades 8, 9, and 10 took a deep dive into important environmental topics with Kahoot activities facilitated by Ms. Sadia Asad. The series of online Kahoot Quizzes focused on UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals, Climate Change, and Responsible Consumption Ms Iqra Kamran and Mr. Haseeb Ur Rehman supported by President Environmental Club, Duaa Ghazala, and Vice President Tazmeen Syed facilitated the smooth running of the event

A special school assembly was conducted in which the school officially launched the Cycling Club. Through this club, the school aims to create a friendly environment and promote social cohesion and a healthy lifestyle for the community
Saving the planet isn’t just for superheroes anymore, imaginative and inventive artists can also do it! Students turned trash into treasures using several mediums and themes and became enviro-activists by reducing, recycling, and reusing for creating flower vases and coffee tables!
The students also planted a variety of plants to contribute towards a clean and healthy environment which is the need of the hour

Graduation Ceremony



A graduation ceremony is a special occasion – the culmination of hard work, the actualization of goals attained, and the acknowledgment of successes achieved. The Graduation Ceremony was held at Beaconhouse Bahria Town, Senior Campus in which students were rewarded for their hard work-a special day that is awaited by the students eagerly!
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali (Vice Chancellor at Quaid-e-Azam University) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Dareecha 6.0

Dareecha, an Interschool three-day mega event, offered students the finest platform to showcase their abilities, talents, and intellect in different categories. Students marked their iconic presence in Sportania, Let’s Runway, Step-up to the Mic, Artisan, Replica, Biz Fiesta, Scavenger Hunt, Cosplay, Scilympics, Kasauti, Spill the Ink, Extempore, Declamania and last but not the least Shutter Up. The occasion concluded with an immensely delightful concert by the popular artist Asim Azhar and an award ceremony for the students who excelled in leading various groups


Parent Teacher Meeting

The Parent Teacher Meeting is an effective way to maintain a responsive line of communication. Parents get a chance to discuss the progress of their child and teachers can provide constructive feedback on academic performance PTM was conducted to discuss the progress of formative and summative assessments for all grades.


International Cultural Exchange
Activity
It is a matter of great joy and pride to share that Beaconhouse Bahria Town, Senior Campus upheld the rich tradition of cross-cultural education regarding “Cultural Exchange Project" academic activities The students of IXC under the worthy guidance of Mr Mansoor Shah had a very interactive discussion session with International Schools of Japan and Indonesia on "Cultural Exchange Activity” through Zoom Students on both sides found this activity really knowledge-gaining through sharing of ideas and views about their culture. Such healthy knowledge-sharing activities must continue for mutual learning.
Bifurcation for Grade VIII
Beaconhouse Bahria Town, Senior Campus arranged a very informative session with the parents of Grade VIII students to brief them about the possible future streams offered by the school. School Head Ms. Samana Imam, Section Head Ms. Shamaila Rizwan, and Ms. Farah Khan (BCP Career Advisor), comprehensively explained the career options available for the students locally and internationally
BBTMUN
Beaconites @BBTC worked wholeheartedly to make its very own first Edition of Beaconhouse Bahria Town Model United Nations, possible. Here are a few glimpses of the First Edition of BBTMUN, 2023 where a total of 150 delegates from BSS CSGC, JT, VT, LGS Gulberg, LGS JT, Aitchison College, Cornerstone, Oneiro, Avalon High and The City School participated in this intellectually dynamic Conference.








Time Management Session
Beaconhouse Bahria Town, Senior Campus believes in the actual professional grooming of students. An important awareness session “Time Management Strategy” was conducted by the Life Coach and Trainer Mr. Raza-i-Mustafa Chaudhry, in which he highlighted the importance of time management, especially for the outgoing classes of XI C. During the session, students were engaged in different vibrant activities pertaining to time management. Such sessions help students to be ready for meeting the upcoming challenges of life

The school's annual bonfire event was a night to remember as students and faculty members gathered under the stars to celebrate the festivity of winter. The evening's entertainment included a movie night, adding to the ambience.





Homebridge Session
The hybrid learning programme HOMEBRIDGE launched by Beaconhouse offers a highly flexible learning experience that allows Matric students to join the A Levels programme, provided they meet the admission criteria An informative session for the students of Matric was conducted by the Senior Manager, Homebridge Syed Asim Ali Shah.

Dengue Awareness Special Session




A ‘Dengue Awareness Session’ was conducted by Ms. Beenish Amir and Mr. Haseeb Ur Rehman for students of Beaconhouse Bahria Town Senior Campus. The purpose of the session was to educate students about the precautions that should be taken to support a healthy environment and how students can play their role as responsible members of the community to spread further awareness
Beaconhouse Bahria Town, Senior Campus celebrated its achievements with a ceremony titled “League of Champions” Students and teachers were awarded for their hard work and dedication not only related to academics but also arts, sports, debating, Science, Mathematics, E-Gaming, Poetry & Recitation, Literature, and Language. Director of Education Development at Beaconhouse Head Office, Mrs.Fareeha Ahmed (Director of Education Department at Beaconhouse Head Office Lahore) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and acknowledged the school’s efforts in building a strong foundation for pupils

Shoot for the Stars
Beaconhouse Bahria Town، Senior Campus organised a motivational session on 27th January، 2023 to stimulate and guide students.

Zaeem Mohtashim Khan- an alumnus of BSS was the guest speaker for the session.
Zaeem was declared Top in Punjab in Combined Sciences in 2022. He had a distinction in the A' Level and had scored 10 As and A* s altogether in the O' level. He inspired our O' Level students with his experiences and guidelines and assured them that self-belief and hard work will always earn them success


In order to commemorate the hardships and sufferings of the Kashmiri people, a Bilingual Declamation Contest was organised at Beaconhouse Bahria Town, Senior Campus. The students delivered speeches unveiling the cruelty and tyranny faced by their oppressed brothers and sisters A heart-wrenching letter was read by the Kashmiri girl, followed by the tableau highlighting the current situation of the people of Kashmir.

Shirt Signing


Matric and Grade XI-C students of Beaconhouse Bahria Town, Senior Campus made memories at the Shirt Signing Activity on March 16, 2023. It was a wonderful sight to see everyone come together to sign each other's shirts and take the autographs of their teachers to commemorate the friendships and memories made during their time at the school
Goodbyes make you think, they make you realize what you’ve had, what you’ve lost, and what you’ve cherished. A momentous farewell was hosted in honour of the outgoing batch of 2023, to bid them goodbye and relish the moments they had in school. It was a memorable event that was enjoyed both by the students and the faculty.



We hope these signed shirts will serve as a reminder of the special bonds forged at Beaconhouse Bahria Town Senior Campus.

TRIP Grade XI
A refreshing and entertaining excursion trip to Kanhatti Gardens, Khabeke Lake, and Soan Valley was organised on 18th February 2023 for the outgoing batch of 2023, inclusive of both Cambridge and Matric streams


The students and teachers enjoyed the scenic beauty and created memories to last forever.

Duke of Edinburgh Brunch Activity
Beaconhouse Bahria Town, Senior Campus initiated the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Programme with the grade VIII and IX students. The first activity “Culinary Challenge” aimed to hone the basic life skills of cooking among the participants Students were divided into groups and were allocated cuisines from all over the world. Ranging from the local desi to the French, students offered fresh drinks and scrumptious meals signifying the cuisine Parents of the participants were invited to witness them learn and enjoy. Activities like these help students learn team-work, patience, problem-solving, and creativity.
Science Quiz
Eureka Science Club organised an Inter-house Science Quiz at Beaconhouse Bahria Town, Senior Campus with the aim of increasing students’ interest in Science and exploring its hidden secrets.

Ms. Rujla David, a seasoned Physics teacher, and Dr Sumaira Shahzad were the judges Students participated with great enthusiasm and Iqbal House won the competition after a nail-biting contest.







Paper Attempting Technique Session
The examination evaluates the student’s ability to learn and is an effective way to analyze knowledge. In this regard, Beaconhouse Bahria Town, Senior Campus organised a special session for IX and X Matric students to equip them with the knack of paper-attempting techniques. The session included the practice of filling out roll number slips as well.
The school administration and teachers wished them good luck for their upcoming BISE Examinations 2023.
TRIP Grade VIII Learn from the World
Travel expands human horizons and school life cannot be completed without the fun of educational tours and excursions. Beaconhouse Bahria Town, Senior School organized an educational trip to the historical sites of Old City Lahore to facilitate the students of grade VIII to reach out for information beyond textbooks. Students thoroughly enjoyed the information shared by the travel guides and explored the historical places.

Promoting Social and Emotional Learning in Students
An informative and interactive session on “Promoting Social and Emotional Learning in Students” was conducted by Dr Zainab Javed, a Clinical Psychologist, and Researcher, popularly known as the founder of ‘Positively Happy’. The session was designed to help students develop critical, social, and emotional skills. Through interactive exercises and discussions, students learned how to manage their emotions, build healthy relationships, and communicate effectively.
The School Head Ms. Humaira Tariq reiterated the need for good behaviour and social norms in school.

By promoting these skills, students can improve their academic performance, increase their wellbeing, and thrive in all aspects of their lives.
Special House Assembly

Beaconhouse Bahria Town, Senior Campus believes in providing all-rounder activities to its students. The school conducted a Special House Assembly, where the scores of all four houses were displayed through a live scoreboard based on Term 1 extracurricular activities, discipline, punctuality, regularity, and Mid Year Examination results of Term 1 Students enthusiastically cheered the scores of their houses.

An informative orientation session on subject selection was conducted for the Grade VIII students who have opted for O' Level
