My heartiest thanks to all the parents, guardians and students whose valiant efforts have helped to keep things growing “weed free”. The loveliest of flowers usually have the best gardeners……..and that is You at home and We at school; together we can make these flowers bloom. Our involvement in their education will go a long way in facilitating their future endeavors. Looking forward to your cooperation as always. Regards Samina Farooq

Points to Ponder for Parents Research shows that one of the most important factors that affect a child’s performance in school is Parental Involvement. Build associations between what is taught and what your child already knows and understands. Communicate with your children about school life. This includes talking to them about friends, academics and co curricular activities, teachers and assignments. Build associations between what is taught & what your child already knows and understands. Make sure that your child’s school bag is properly packed. Name should be written in BLOCK letters outside the bag as well as on all stationery items inside it. Please check / sign your child’s homework everyday. Make sure that your child is dropped at school and picked up at proper timings. Take time out to read the school newsletter. It may not always be convenient but try to attend school functions such as Open House and Parent Teacher Meetings. DO NOT park your cars in front of the school gate in the morning and at home time. Visiting hours should be followed. Take prior appointment to save time. Registrations for the admissions are OPEN in all classes from IV to X, session 2010-2011. 4
