We believe in working as facilitators of learning, so that the tiny steps of the happy feet can take off in leaps and bounds to achieve success in the years to come. Our mission is to provide each child a safe, nurturing, academically challenging and culturally diverse environment and offer high quality early childhood education. This academic term we initiated literacy corners, morning tubs in classes which cultivated a sense of self-learning and broadened the horizons of these young minds. We are glad to inform you all that we have started NEST’s (club activities) at the Kindergarten level as well where students are involved in various clubs e.g. math wizards, arty crafters, life skills etc. BSS as a whole is serving the community by organizing events, conferences and broadening its educational vision. A World of Tomorrow Reimagined, the latest in the School of Tomorrow event series was held in in Number. A large number of international and national experts from fields of architecture, finance, education, arts, law and governance participated in more than 40 panel discussions. A balance of education at home and school molds a student’s actual learning. Parental encouragement plays a crucial role in students’ success. This is our basic agenda for having parental walkthroughs, keeping parents in touch with learning that transpires in school. Be a helping hand in their educational journey and travel with them with true inspiration. On behalf of the entire staff of BSS KG II, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the parents for their continued trust and support in us. Looking forward to the second term. Independence Day was celebrated with true spirit and commitment for a better tomorrow. This year our students enthusiastically commemorated the 71st Independence Day. The highlight of this year was our new initiative of making our country green by planting trees around our area.
CRAZY HAT DAY
We highly believe that fun is the key to teaching as it has a long lasting impact on the students. An activity for Toddlers and Pre-Nursery students was planned to let them create crazy, amusing and colorful hats with their mothers’ support. To make it a more fruitful event for parents, a pediatrician session was also held during which mothers got an insight into common ailments and how to prevent them.

With the changing times, the methods of teaching are also changing. Our mathematical curriculum is an example of such a change. It is maneuvered by CPA approach - Concrete, Pictorial and Abstract approach, that implicates students to achieve mastery in mathematical concepts. To familiarize our parents with this approach, an orientation session was held for KG and Classes I and II.
