Dear Parents, Asalam o alikum! The importance of academics in a child’s life cannot be overlooked but there’s a need to inculcate lifelong skills to promote positive attitude and values. Here are some of the outstanding events of the 1st Term 2018-2019: Food for Thought August 10

Independence Day August 14

“Be an encourager, never let anyone down”

“There’s no power on earth that can undo Pakistan”

In order to inculcate positive moral ethics and values, a session was conducted for students of grade V.

Students reflected a commitment to make our land a better place to live in with peace and unity through their commendable performance.

Welcome Party August 13 Students relished their Welcome Party as an opportunity to rekindle friendship and build healthy relationship as a class.

Colouring Book Day August 16 “Colour is my day-long obsession, joy and torment” Colouring Book Day was observed in which students of classes IV and V relished colouring task with their peer.

Orientation Session August 18 Parents insight about the different areas of curriculum

Minute to win Math Competition September 1 Class IV practising a mental math strategy "Subtracting from 100,1000,10 000" followed by a "Minute to win" competition.

Defence Day September 6 “Thousands laid their lives, so that our country breathe this day. Never forget their sacrifice” An assortment of skits were presented apart from a Quiz Competition. We were honoured to have Col. Nadeem and Col. Najeeb as Chief guests on the occasion.

World’s Literacy Day September 8 “Literacy is a greatest gift a person could receive” To accentuate the importance of literacy in our daily lives, students of class III mended old library books that were sent as donation to TCF School’s library.

Celebrating Roald Dahl

September 13

“A little magic can take you a long way” Roald Dahl’s books are appreciated by children of all ages for his inventive use of language. Students came dressed up as famous characters of Roald Dahl's story and spoke few dialogues of their favourite characters. They made birthday cards for their beloved author.

“Unity, Faith and Discipline” Students searched for information and wrote a short biography of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.


Election Fever 2018-2019 September 18 “Students of today, leaders of tomorrow” Much awaited elections for the head boy and head girl were held. The results were announced amid of joy and excitement in which Shahmir (VB) and Rameen Shad (VA) were declared as Head Boy and Head girl respectively whereas Abubakar Sibte Maqsood and Laiba Ameen were elected as Deputy Head Boy and Head Girl respectively. Congratulations to the ecstatic elected winners!

HRCA Art Competition September 14 “Every Child is an Artist” Syed Maaz Hussain of class VG was awarded with a bronze medal in HRCA Art Contest. Kudos!

Our Little Encyclopedia Wasif Mehdi of class IV B was presented with a certificate for his special interest in browsing and compiling general knowledge. Keep going our little encyclopedia.

Orientation Session of CPA approach In Mathematics September 25 “The only way to learn Mathematics is to do Mathematics” An interactive and informative session was held with the parents of I and II to introduce the CPA approach in Math.

Go Green Campaign September 18 “He who plants trees loves others besides himself” Adhering to the adverse effects of Global Warming, students took part in tree plantation campaign aiming for environmental cleaning and beautification. Our special thanks to Mr Omair father of Khizer Omair Class V, for his generous contribution by providing plants in ‘Go Green Campaign’.


1st Parent Teacher Meeting September 30 “Together we may give our children the roots to grow and the wings to fly” First PTM of the academic year was held at BSS PP-III as an opportunity to refine the progress and areas of improvement of students’ learning.

Intra SGO Futsal Tournament October 2 Primary III PECHS team won 2nd Position in Intra SGO Futsal Tournament. Felicitations to the winners.

Library Week October 1 “Your library is your paradise” Adeel Hashmi, grandson of Faiz Ahmed Faiz and Chief Editor of Hamdard Naunehal Mr Saleem Farukhi were our guest speakers who delivered valuable suggestions to our young writers.

Teachers Day Celebration October 5 “A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind and touches a heart” Teachers' Day was joyfully celebrated to cherish the splendid efforts of teachers. Teachers were given small gifts as a token to mark the day.

14th Dawn Spelling Bee Competition October 9 Asal Khan, Saifullah Peerzada and Umar Ellahi of class V participated in 14th Dawn Spelling Bee Competition as an opportunity to strengthen their skill of spellings.


Movie Time October 12 Happiness is… warm, salty, crunchy

Global Dignity Day October 17 “When it comes to human dignity, we cannot make compromises” Students heartily presented skits, songs and quotes during a special morning assembly. The chief guests from TCF Ms. Laila and Ms. Nabila, shared the valuable success story of TCF and its contribution to the country. Ms. Aaliya Burney of “Sarim Barney Welfare Trust” inspired our young students through her motivational speech. Grade V had a Skype session with grade IX of Jauhar Campus related to rights and responsibilities of a citizen and importance of social work. In order to appreciate the efforts of the support staff, they were presented with gifts.

Competition October 29 “If a story is in you, it has to come out” Arsam Rehman, Baseej Mehdi, Laiba Ameen of class IV participated in creating a mysterious comic story.

World of Tomorrow - SOT Event November 3-4 A World of Tomorrow provides a setting to deepen our social discourse by introducing inspirational new ideas. This unique conference brings together public members with leading thinkers from Pakistan and around the world to discuss emerging issues within contemporary societies and how these may contribute to a better future for our children and their children.

Beaconhouse Birthday Bash November 4 Students of P-III PECHS fervently celebrated 43rd birthday of Beaconhouse as a recognition to brighten up our wisdom.


Intra SGO Basketball Tournament November 12

Inter SGO Kids Athletic Championship November 14 Primary III PECHS secured 2nd position in Inter SGO Kids Athletic Championship. Well done, students!

Proud moment for Primary III PECHS! Our class V team won 1st Position in Intra SGO Basketball Tournament. Congratulations to the Champions!

A Tribute to Allama Iqbal November 13 “Arise and soar with the sun’s new rays” Students of class I staged a tableau and class IV enacted famous poems which was superbly intoned by the choir.

Debate Competition December 4 Students stepped out on stage to share their thoughts with poise in a persuasive manner.

HRCA Science and English December 2 Eshal Imran and Faryal Ansar won a gold medal and Minal Fatima won a bronze medal in HRCA English Competition whereas Haiqa Tariq was awarded with a silver medal in HRCA Science Competition. Many Congratulations to our shining stars! Intra SGO Debate Competition December 7 “Words have incredible power” Moosa Ghaziani secured 1st Position and Hussain Abbas secured a Runner-Up Prize while speaking in favour and against the topic 'Today's Children will inherit a better world' respectively. Eshal Imran and Laiba Ameen of class IV spoke convincingly in favour and against the topic 'Country life is better than city life'. Bravo our young Debaters. We are proud of you!

Paying Tribute to our beloved Prophet (P.B.U.H.) December 7 “There’s none worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad (PBUH) is the messanger of Allah” A programme on Seerat e Nabwi SAW was held in which students of grade V presented a biography on life of our beloved Prophet (P.B.U.H), followed by melodious naats. Grand Finale Junior Sports Kids Athletics December 11-12 Proud of our young athletes! Primary III PECHS is the winner of Intra Region Grand Finale Junior Sports Kids Athletics for Class III, IV and V. Annual Sports Day December 15 “The harder the battle, the greater the victory” Sports build confidence and discipline. Mr. Meer Hamza, the test player of Pakistan Cricket team honoured the event as a Chief Guest together with Mr. Waqar, player of Quetta Gladiator. Students participated eagerly in a variety of displays and sport competitions to earn accolades. Young athletes cheered excitedly for their peers during all these competitions and displayed great sporting spirit.

Frosty Fun December 21 Frosty Fun Party was cherished by the students with lots of fun and exciting moments to welcome winter.
