Beaconhouse School System, Clifton Campus Newsletter May 2016 The First Word Dear Parents/Guardians, Assalam-o-alaikum! It is hard to believe how quickly this year passed and has come to an end. On behalf of team Clifton Campus I would like to thank you all for your support and cooperation throughout the year. We have had a very eventful and successful year and you deserve equal credit to the school’s success. This year an IB consultant from Australia, Ms.Diane Fisk visited Clifton Campus to give her feedback on the implementation of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme at our school. It gives me immense pleasure to share with you that she gave a very positive feedback about the progress of the programme. She was all praises for our young inquirers, thinkers and caring students and was especially impressed with our student’s confidence level. Different events and celebrations were organized throughout the year for students’ wholesome development. The Learning Festival was a huge success which exhibited parents’ enthusiasm, interest and commitment to the learning and progress of their children. Our faculty members and the pedagogical leaders have been going through continuous professional development to enhance and extend their skills to cater to students varied learning needs and styles. We at Beaconhouse believe in students’ academic, emotional, social and physical growth and continuously work along with our faculty members to provide a happy and stress free conducive learning environment. Keep encouraging your child to question and think!! I wish all of you a very relaxing summer break and look forward to seeing you in August ____________ Rabia Shahdab (Sr. Headmistress)
