Dear Parents,

Result Day

This month children will be introduced to a new theme that is “The things we wear.” During this month students will be involved in a variety of activities through which they will get to know about people who make our clothes, clothing materials and their properties. Students will get information about the clothes we wear in different weathers. i.e. in winters, we wear different attires such as sweaters, caps, jeans, scarfs, jackets, woolen clothes and in summers or mid season we wear light clothes.

Art Exhibition

Mathematical Development Students will be introduced to the following::  picture addition upto 5 using objects & fingers  number names, zero, one, two, three, four and five.  The value of money, name money Rs 1 coin, Rs2 coin, Rs5 coin, Rs10 note and Rs 20 note.

Theme: Things we wear

Through the story“ Don’t worry Huglus Dugless”, students will identify main events and characters of the story. Students will be given awareness through interactive activities about the following: 

Ethics 

Communication, Language & Literacy

Knowledge & Understanding of the world

make predictions about the characters, setting and events in a story while discussing the cover page.

continue a simple rhyming string by using the word at from the stories. i.e. mat, cat, pat, sat.

blend and segment sounds in the following words i.e. not hat, can, cow.

recognize high frequency words i.e. do, am, my.

raise and answer simple questions from the story “The Toy’s Party” and “ New Tainers”.

retell the story “The Toy’s Party” and “New Trainers”using relevant vocabulary .i.e. a, got, his, in, jam, sugar, sauce, cornflakes, mum, new ,pair ,liked, wore, trainers, wanted, washed.

form the following letters using the correct formation Gg, Ff, Uu.

Theme : A Simple Pulley Students will be given awareness through interactive activities about the following:
