graphics and promotional gadgets for the municipal office, local organizations and institutions. Anahit Yeprikyan has conducted sports activities for children, youth and adults, and coordinated a school theatre. Both volunteers have participated in the preparation of cultural events and organized their own events and projects, cultural evenings, youth day camps and workshops.
High quality learning of volunteers was ensured by the use of non-formal education methods, such as the ‘project’ method, brainstorming, creative problem solving, mind maps, work with a team, working in a group, the use of ICT and by evaluation of their work and learning. Volunteers have acquired and developed their key competencies, gained a valuable experience, become more aware of their learning process. They have learnt about Polish culture and about intercultural issues. They have made friends and become part of the local community.
The most important is the impact of the project on the local community. Thanks to the work of the volunteers, the local residents participated in interesting and unique projects, developed competencies and, above all, a cultural attitude.

When I saw the description of this project, I immediately felt somewhere inside myself that this project would be just for, connecting creativity and new people around with the love of what you are doing and what you want to share with the people who live there. This was my first and last application for EVS (because fate gives you such a chance only once in a lifetime) I knew that this project would change me. Thus, when 10 months have flown by with the speed of light, I appreciate this period of life even more, because this was a time for concentration, involving new emotions, skills, people and places. The project gave a space to exit my comfort zone out of which happiness envelops you completely and gives the strength to pass to the next discoveries and challenges. The matter is that, being in our usual routine life, we rarely have so many opportunities to change ourselves and at the same time help to change the people surrounding us. The above mentioned makes up my project. It’s about development and creativity. Here I was able to implement a nine-month course on calligraphy for children, youth and adults. This taught me to find a special approach in working with people of different ages. In addition, thanks to this project, my skills in graphic design, event organisation, oratorical art, creating an exhibition, writing articles in Polish, working with programs for video editing and video shooting have improved. These skills are just the tip of a huge iceberg, because this is only what are the results, but on the way to them you always moved through different doors, while each of these doors was something new. And if there is at least a small possibility that we have several lives, I would not hesitate to choose this project in each of them .
