AQUA-FIT

Get your heart rate up and increase your strength with this challenging yet fun aqua class. Aqua belts and various other pieces of equipment will help you challenge yourself in the deep water’s resistance!

B-FIT BOOTCAMP

Come on down for a rockin’ full-body workout that mixes resistance exercises and cardio moves to increase your endurance and leave you feeling energized! Suitable for all levels. Don’t forget to bring your water bottle!

BAND BURNOUT

Full body resistance band workout that will add a new twist to your everyday workout! It’s easy on your joints, but merciless on your muscles. Come see what “band burnout” is all about.

BEGINNER VINYASA FLOW YOGA

Learn to move with breath in a slower paced class made for those new to yoga or those looking to refine their practice and focus on alignment. There are options and modifications provided to every posture. A great way to release stress, find your center, get strong and flexible!

BODYWEIGHT BOOTCAMP

Your body is your best tool! You can lift, lower and move your body in a variety of ways to get your heart pumping and muscles toned. This class will have minimal to no equipment use, while you use bodyweight to improve cardio and strength!

BOOTCAMP

Get a bit of everything in these faster-paced classes using a combination of resistance training, cardio and core strengthening exercises!

BOOTCARDIO BLAST

Get it all in before you start your day: a full-body workout that includes cardio and strength with a focus on functional fitness. Suitable for all levels and come expecting to sweat in our new turf Field House!

GENTLER AQUA-FIT

These classes soften the basic aquatic skills and drills, but keep all the fun! Join us for a drop in class designed for anyone who needs to tone it down or is just starting out.

HATHA YOGA

This class links your breath with movement and meditation combining traditional hatha postures with fluid movement. Hatha yoga awakens the body’s muscles while building strength, flexibility and a deeper sense of awareness.

HIIT – HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING!

This a workout jam packed with intense bursts of exercise followed by short recovery periods to keep your heart rate challenged. Boost your metabolism with this class!

MOBILE JOINTS

For those needing care with their fitness routine due to arthritis, rehabilitation, or balance difficulties, this seated class safely targets major joints with gentle strengthening and stretching exercises!

MORNING YOGA BOOTCAMP

Enjoy this change up yoga class which will not only test your flexibility but also your strength and cardio!

PICK YOUR PACE BOOTCAMP

A mix of cardio and strength that is appropriate for everyone; you can pick your pace! Lots of options for high or low impact and plenty of modifications for anyone who needs it!

SPINCYCLE

Rev up your cardio and overall conditioning with a fun group cycling class. You will be challenged with a variety of drills utilizing rolling hills, sprints, climbs and much more!

YIN YOGA

Find relaxation and a deep stretch while exploring yin yoga. In this unique yoga practice, the whole body rests and opens with long held poses used to rejuvenate and repair the area of focus.

YOGA FOR EVERYONE

Join us for taste of yoga where you will get to enjoy a variety of different classes! This class aims to provide a variety of sequences and intensities to keep us healthy and revitalized. This “all levels” class will explore some power flows, as well as help us work on our flexibility, mobility and core strength overall to prevent any injuries!

CLASS INTENSITY LEVELS:

All of our classes are designed to offer different intensity levels to suit the fitness needs of our entire community! While classes are rated more or less intense, do note that our certified instructors skillfully offer modifications to our fitness classes to adapt to varying fitness levels and physical limitations. RPE – Rate of Perceived Exertion is based on a scale of 1-10. Rate of perceived exertion is a measure of effort level. A rating of 1 is rest or extremely light exercise, 2-5 ratings reflect easy-moderate exercise, 6-7 is moderate to hard, and a rating of 8-10 is vigorous exercise.

BARRE

A low impact class inspired by Dance, Yoga, and Pilates. KICKBOXING

Get your heart pumping and your body moving with our brand-new kickboxing class! Proper martial arts techniques mix with fast-paced cardio for this engaging class designed for all fitness levels. PILATES & STRETCHING

Have a mid-week workout for yourself with the perfect class to realign your spine and release those sore spots! 30 minutes of Pilates strength and flexibility focus on achieving spinal mobility, then followed by 15 minutes of overall body stretching. All levels welcome!

This class is designed for our Young Athletes (12-19 years old). A combination of a warm-up system, Dynamic running, Top End Speed Mechanics and Sprint Application. STROLLERCIZE

Come join our new Strollercize class! A combination of low impact cardio, strength and endurance. A variety of exercises from speed walking to baby lifting, while keeping the main focus on the pelvic floor for a healthy recovery. SYNRGY CIRCUIT

Are you curious about how to properly and effectively use our new Synrgy 360 training rig at the entrance of the BSRC Fitness Centre? Come learn some of the various workout options in a small group class environment! The focus will be circuit based (interval) training, with endurance, strength and cardio aspects. We will be using free weights, TRX, battle ropes, rope pulls, cables and much more! WATER BABIES

Enjoy a full body workout and some fun with your baby! This class will allow parents to get a great workout AND enjoy time with their little one at the same time, while your baby is in our supportive “baby boats”. Notes: For smaller babies, please feel free to bring an extra towel for more support around the baby. Please dress your baby in a standard swim diaper. Baby boats are provided. LOW INTENSITY: RPE: 2-5- classes rated as low intensity typically use low impact movements. You are still comfortable performing exercises while challenging yourself, and you can carry a conversation during class.

RPE - Rate of Perceived Exertion

MODERATE INTENSITY: RPE 6-8 – classes rated as moderate intensity use variations of both high and low impact exercises, also can be dependent on the participant’s preferred modifications. Comfort zones are pushed while you are starting to get short of breath and only maintain brief conversation. HIGH INTENSITY: RPE 8-10 – classes rated as high intensity use variations of both high and low impact exercises reaching very difficult to maintain effort levels. This effort level will make you unable to maintain conversation, and leave you out of breath while pushing your limits!
