Have you ever had problems deciding when to use your flash, or don’t like the results you get with it? Want to learn how to make the most of natural sunlight? Furthermore, want to learn how to balance natural light, ambient light (all existing), and flash to create beautifully lit creative images? Join Bonnie-Jean for this hands on, fun workshop and let her show you some of the tips and tricks she has learnt about light, as a professional photographer for the past 30 years. 17033

Learn how to weave on a basic lap loom! During this 3 week class you will learn four common weaving techniques that you will use to create two wall hangings that you will be proud to display. Participants please bring a pair of sharp scissors, all other yarn supplies will be included as well as your very own loom to keep at the end of the workshop! 16934

We are excited to announce a continuation of our cooking classes by Chartier! In partnership with our local top-class restaurant, we will be offering various cooking classes to the community led by outstanding chefs. These classes will take place on various weekday evenings (traditionally Wednesdays), rotating between various age groups and themes for the Winter season. No matter your age and experience, if you are eager to learn and expand your cooking knowledge and skills, these are the classes for you!

OIL PAINTING BASICS WORKSHOP Even the masters had to start somewhere... The Sistine Chapel wasn't created overnight. In this fun 5 week workshop, you will learn while you paint, the basics of how to work with oil paints. Learn techniques of blending and layering colours to create intensity and luminosity. Make some new friends and share in the joy of learning the basics of painting. At the end you will take home 2 of your own works of art! All supplies will be included in the course.
HOW TO WRITE A BOOK IN 40 DAYS In this course, participants will learn about writing a book, and all the logistics behind the scenes. Linda will share with participants the fool proof formula for creating a complete overview of their book, how to easily structure chapters and sub-chapter, the guaranteed cure for writers block, and how to craft a compelling title. However, beyond writing a strong book, Linda will also share the pros and cons of traditional publishing vs self-publishing, how to obtain IBSN numbers and their importance, marketing tips and ideas, as well as how to get your books on Amazon (the world’s largest bookstore).
