Our Textbooks

make the world of

cosmetolog y come to life. Unlike many textbooks—which are long on text and short on real-world relevance—Empire’s textbooks are based on how you, and our typical students, like to learn. They are: # Visually stimulating and

interesting # Engaging and involving # True works of art Each text progresses from simple to intermediate to complex skills. Each enables you to build the confidence to apply what you’ve learned to your clients.

The Empire Approach Every subject becomes easier to understand with visual, real-world examples. You’ll easily relate every concept and technique to real-life experiences. Everything you learn is formatted so you can think about it in the context of an actual salon environment.

W hy E mp ire ?

As you master each level, you can move ahead quickly, developing exceptional skill in the areas you enjoy the most.

The curriculum changed with Empire and the emphasis has been put in the areas that really help salon owners to capitalize on good graduates. public service announcements media outreach

...and more Empire launched a multi-platform campaign, “Empire Gives Back,” to support CUT IT OUT, a program that teaches salon professionals to recognize signs of domestic abuse and safely refer clients to those who can help.

# More than 11,000 students have been trained to identify signs of domestic abuse

# In the most recent campaign, for one day of beauty services performed by our students, 100% of profits were donated to local women’s shelters across the nation
