Coolwrap 'cabbage rolls' C Bejo’s Coolwrap: healthy and delicious recipes using handy square cabbage leaves from specially selected flat cabbage varieties. These varieties stand out for their fresh green colour, mild flavour and very fine leaf structure which keeps its strength and elasticity during processing.

HEALTH • TASTE • CONVENIENCE The flat shape makes it easy to cut and ensures the maximum number of ‘perfect squares’ from the cabbage. These are ideal for wraps, sushi, lasagna or as part of a healthy sandwich. They are also a great ingredient in a healthy, tasty salad. Coolwrap is gluten free and is perfect in a low carbohydrate diet. For consumers in retail stores, Bejo recommends Coolwrap as ‘ready to use’ square leaves and as a whole packed cabbage. Coolwrap also has great potential for the food processing industry as a raw ingredient for fresh pack or salads. Unique characteristics for Coolwrap: • The specially selected cabbage varieties have a mild flavour • Coolwrap is very nutritious (high in vitamin C) • Gluten free • Suitable for use in a low carbohydrate diet • Coolwrap leaves are 'ready to use' • Easy preparation and roll-up due to the thin vein and fine leaf structure • A cabbage distinguishable by its shape • Healthier than traditional tortillas/wraps • A visually attractive presentation of cabbage • Good shelf life in the fridge

VARIETIES GUNMA: Flat white cabbage variety with a mild flavour. Square leaves can be easily cut out of the cabbage, so they can be used for Coolwrap. Gunma can be grown under different conditions. Due to its short growing cycle, a very precise production schedule can be made. TAMARINDO: Produces flat round white cabbage heads with a good internal structure. Tamarindo has smooth leaves of green colour with thin veins which can be used for Coolwrap. Tamarindo has a short growing schedule.
