“Well”, 2016, Porcelain, 3 1/2” x 3 3/8“, sku:msu02

artist statement ”Porcelain is the paper I use to illustrate the odysseys of thoughts and experiences real or imagined. The work, at first glance seems innocent and playful, qualities that can disarm a viewer, making one look closer to explore the details and idiosyncrasies of the imagery. Upon this further examination, the complexity of these images starts to unfold; the emotional depth of the work emerges invoking curiosity and inquiry into the work’ s narrative.” -michelle summers 2016
