Awards success and a fun day out for charity for local firm Downie & Gadban

Hampshire law firm Downie & Gadban was named Runner Up in the Law Firm of the Year (Small) category at the annual Hampshire Law Society Awards earlier this year. The Awards, which were announced on 26th May at the Society’s Annual Dinner at the Hilton Hotel, Hedge End, celebrate legal excellence across the region. Firms are judged on such criteria as growth in reputation, client appreciation, client service initiatives and professional development and accreditation.

The firm, which has a longstanding commitment to supporting the Hampshire community and local charities, will also be sponsoring the Chawton House Challenge on Sunday 9th October. Organised by Alton Runners, the day will comprise a number of races for adults and children and is raising funds in aid of Alton Cardiac Rehab Centre, who are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year, and Chawton House, who are raising funds for a defibrillator. Chawton House sits within 275 acres of parkland, and the entry fee includes admission into the beautiful Chawton House Gardens.
