Turn your waste food into luxury compost

Probably you shop wisely and never discover festering stuff at the bottom of your fridge, but just in case... and for your orange peel, apple cores, lettuce stalks, plant waste etc... Bring them all to be biodigested and transformed right in the centre of Chiswick.

Abundance London is partnering with Room 2 to biodigest Chiswick’s waste food - yours! - with zero miles and turn it into luxury compost to grow plants for our lovely pocket gardens.

Room 2, who recently won the Award for Best New Business in the 2023 West London Chamber Business Awards, is Chiswick’s Hometel - a cross between a hotel and home - situated in Windmill Road, just off the High Road, built to extremely high sustainability standards. At the side of the hometel there is a state of the art biodigester - and it is very hungry!

We invite residents to bring their food and plant waste to the Special Bin situated on Windmill Road so that the Big Biodigester can get to work turning your waste into compost - a virtuous circle, turning rubbish into beauty.

We want ALL your food waste, apart from hard stuff like bones, avocado stones, coconuts. And obviously no plastic bits.
