Welcome to the Winter edition of our Quarterly Business Magazine

There have been a number of key announcements from the government since our last magazine landed with you with the Employment Rights Bill and the eagerly anticipated Autumn Budget outlining significant changes for businesses.

The Employment Rights Bill introduces vast changes that will impact businesses of all shapes and sizes and we have been working closely with colleagues at the British Chambers of Commerce to pass on your views for the consultation stage of the bill.

The Autumn Budget was one of the most anticipated in recent history and brought with it many changes that will be challenging for businesses going forward. However, the Chancellor has offered some hope by pledging a future path toward economic stability.

It was brilliant to see so many people at our Annual Ball & Recognition Awards on 15th November to celebrate the successes of the last year. Thank you to everyone who made it a fantastic occasion and you can read more about the night and find out the winners on pgs 26-29.

Following on from the success of the Ynys Môn Network event on 8th October, the next 12 months are set to be exciting for the Chamber. We have plans for new events, more collaboration with our partners, better networking and we’re making sure we support you, our members, and the challenges you face even more effectively – so watch this space!
