Cokebusters won the award after impressing judges with their ‘unique technological solution to a unique challenge’.

Established in 2005, Cokebusters is a leading provider of advanced mechanical cleaning and pipeline inspection, helping the drive to cleaner and safer energy. The firm imagined, designed, built and successfully patented a single bodied intelligent pig tool which is now used around the world.

Award judge, Mander Thiara, Global Operations Program Manager at HP, said: “Cokebusters are demonstrating how innovative digital solutions can help tackle the huge environmental challenges the world faces. It’s great to see a UK manufacturing company leading the way in cutting global carbon emissions. The firm is clearly ambitious but rightly wants to keep its roots in Cheshire.”
