Launch of brand-new Ynys Môn Network a huge success!
In October, the West Cheshire & North Wales Chamber of Commerce were delighted to launch their brand-new Ynys Môn Network, a business-tobusiness networking event, in collaboration with Angleseybased social enterprise, Menter Môn, at Menai Science Park (M-SParc).
Demand for the first event took off with the initial allocation of tickets selling out within days. This highlighted local businesses' need for a platform that provides opportunities to come together, build connections and network with fellow business professionals from Anglesey and beyond.
The network also provided an opportunity for attendees to find out more about the support available to them as Sarah Bailey, Chief Executive Officer of West Cheshire & North Wales Chamber of Commerce, and Bethan Fraser-Williams, Projects Director at Menter Môn, gave brilliant speeches, outlining the plethora of support provided by both organisations.
Commenting following the launch, Sarah Bailey, said:
“It was fantastic to see the demand for the first meeting of the Ynys Môn Network. This inaugural event allowed us to extend our reach in North Wales and continue our mission to support businesses across the entire region.
Sarah continued: “Seeing the success of the first meeting was extremely encouraging and we now look forward to building upon this by delivering future networking and support opportunities for business in Anglesey and beyond!”
Sara Lois Roberts, Project Manager at the Menter Môn Enterprise Hub added:
“Menter Môn were delighted to work with West Cheshire & North Wales Chamber of Commerce to launch the Ynys Môn Network. Collaborating for this network allows us to add value as part of our business support services, along with supply chain opportunities in sectors such as renewable energy, food, and digital.”
