The 2024 milestones and community commitment

As the year draws to a close, we at Ellis & Co — one of Chester and Wrexham’s leading chartered accountants, reflect on a journey of growth and contribution to our clients and community. From reaching new growth milestones to sponsoring significant events in Cheshire, 2024 has truly been a whirlwind of progress for our company. Thus, we delve into a wrap-up of highlights that align with our firm’s commitments to our clients and ethos.

Celebrating 35 years in business is a significant achievement for Ellis & Co and one that fills us with pride. Over the past three and a half decades, we’ve traversed the dynamic accounting landscape alongside new technologies and evolving regulatory standards. Our ability to adapt, grow, and stay resilient has been key in to continued success. With a legacy built on trust, integrity, and professionalism, Ellis & Co looks forward to many more years of serving clients and the community with the same dedication and expertise that has defined us since day one.

Keeping this in mind, the firm has also recently achieved the remarkable milestone of partnering with 100 new clients in 2024. This is a testament to the trust and relationships built over the years. Serving a diverse range of businesses, from startups to established enterprises, Ellis & Co provides tailored accounting services that meet the unique needs of each client. Reaching 100 new clients so far this year is a reflection of the firm’s commitment to excellence, as well as its growing reputation within the accounting profession.

Throughout these wonderful years, CSR has also been key to Ellis & Co’s ongoing commitment to support local causes. This year, we’ve had the privilege of sponsoring several important community events that brought together local businesses and individuals to help those in need. Some of these sponsorships were for the Hospice of the Good Shepherd which supports one of the most meaningful causes that we hold close to our hearts.

We are proud to have sponsored their Annual Dinner in March, which raised crucial funds for inpatient care, as well as the Farndon Soapbox Derby held in September, a fun and familyfriendly event that highlights our belief in supporting the hospice and other local causes. Soon after, we were also thrilled to support this charity’s successful Golf Day which is held annually in summer, and as patron members of the West Cheshire & North Wales Chamber of Commerce, we also had the privilege to be Headline Sponsor their Annual Ball & Recognition Awards, as well as sponsoring the Business of the Year Award, an event that brings together the region’s business leaders to celebrate tremendous achievements and foster new partnerships.

2024 has been a year of reflection, growth and giving back. With 100 new clients, 35 years of success and numerous community contributions, we are proud of what has been achieved and look forward to what lies ahead.
