INFORMATION: Italy is among the European countries of great tourist importance both for the wealth of historical attractions such as its unique tradition and gastronomy, making it one of the most popular places to visit and learn sightseeing. Italy is a country in Mediterranean Europe that is south of the continent; is divided into four geographic regions and also has within its territory to the islands of Sicily and Sardinia. Among the most popular cities in Italy can be named to Rome, Milan, Venice, Florence, Bologna, Naples and Pisa, both for its historical distinction, artistic and gastronomic.' climate: The climate in Italy is determined by the geographical location and the various stages of the year, having a predominantly temperate climate. In the north, mountainous area, the climate tends to vary from wet to dry with some precipitation, while in the south, the weather is usually mild. language: The country's official language is Italian, employed in the whole extent of its territory, leading also to dialects and derivations of language such as the Piedmontese, Sicilian, Sardinian, Lombard, Neapolitan and Venetian, among others. religion: The dominant religion is Roman Catholic religion, practiced by 84% of the population. Palermo Its long history has given it considerable artistic and architectural heritage spanning Punic remains to Art Nouveau houses, past residences and Norman Arab style, baroque churches and neoclassical theaters.
Milan It is the second most populated city in Italy, has the appearance and characteristics of a modern city with skyscrapers, glass and metal buildings and department stores.
