HERE cannot be many houses with a position like this one, so close to the city centre but surrounded by open space. Like the reception rooms, each of the double bedrooms has pale walls and beige/brown carpets – and each has built-in wardrobes. The wardrobes in the biggest bedroom have mirrored sliding doors. From the second bedroom is access, via a pull-down ladder, to the partly-boarded and insulated loft. Indoor space is rounded off by a spacious bathroom, fitted with a white suite including a corner shower cubicle and, opposite, a corner bath. Beige tiles adorn the splashbacks and floor.
