Our second cruise on offer sails out of the same port next October, again aboard Discovery, only this time heading for Madeira, Cape Verde and the Canaries on a 19-day voyage costing from £2,079.

Discovery will call at the floral paradise of Madeira, two sun-kissed Canary Islands, and a trio of fascinating outposts in the Cape Verde archipelago.

There is also a day in Portugal’s capital Lisbon.

Ports of call are Funchal in Madeira, Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the Canaries, Porto Novo, Praia and Mindelo in the Cape Verde Islands, Arrecife in the Canaries, and Lisbon, before sailing back to Bristol.
