What’s Poppin’ Bellflower Key Club! Welcome back to the Ninja Times! We’re in the home stretch now! The term is almost coming to an end and while it may not have gone the way we expected it to go, I hope you all were able to make long lasting memories and make new friends! We recently held our elections and I want to congratulate Rogelio Acosta, Anaiah Grant, Khomsan Liamkrajang, Elize Dizon, Allyana Macedo, ShooShoo Elghazzawy, Amy Gonzalez, Mary Ordinario, and Julissa Grano for being elected onto Bellflower Key Club’s 2021-2022 board! I am super excited for our newly elected board and can't wait to see what they have in store for our club. If you ran and did not win, that is alright because there are so many other leadership opportunities that Key Club has to offer such as Division Leadership Team, division committees, and other district positions! As announced at January DCM, we will be realigning Division 13. As of next term, we will no longer be serve under Division 13 South, but the Division 13 North monkeys! Although this is a sad end to our long history with Division 13 South, I know that under the amazing leadership of your new president and your newly elected Lieutenant Governor that Bellflower Key Club will continue to thrive. Once again, thank you for reading this issue of the Ninja Times and a huge thank you to our historian, Coral Pongsuwan, for publishing our wonderful newsletter! You can find our newsletter at issuu.com/bhsninjas! Kickin’ for Service,

Bellflower Key Club President

Human trafficking is an important topic to speak about because countless people are affected by it. To spread awareness, Bellflower Key Club members were able to create graphics speaking about who Human Trafficking affects and why it should have more awareness. We hope our members learned something new during the service project.

In the month of January, Bellflower Key Club presented National Thesaurus day, where members were able to learn new words using Freerice. Each time you learn a new word, 5 grains of rice gets donated to different people and communities in need. Not only do you get to enhance your knowledge, you’re also helping out someone else. We hope all of our members enjoyed this service project!
