What’s Poppin’ Bellflower Key Club! Welcome back to the Ninja Times! We’re in the home stretch now! The term is almost coming to an end and while it may not have gone the way we expected it to go, I hope you all were able to make long lasting memories and make new friends! I know these next few months are going to be stressful, especially with testing and AP testing coming up, but we’re in our last quarter of the school year! I am incredibly proud of everyone for persevering with online school and doing the best you could! As we are one month away from the end of the term, we are about 500 hours away from our service hour goal! While I don’t expect us to fully reach it, I encourage you all to try to get some service hours in and help us get as close as we can! Once again, thank you for reading this issue of the Ninja Times and a huge thank you to our historian, Coral Pongsuwan, for publishing our wonderful newsletter! You can find our newsletter at issuu.com/bhsninjas! Kickin’ for Service,

Bellflower Key Club President

Although the month of February was not been terribly busy for Bellflower Key Club, there are KEY activities / goals we contributed within the month. To start off, our officer elections were finalized in February, and members participated in various service events such as Spread the Love Week and Valentine’s Day Card Making. Overall it was an exciting month and we were able to gain about 100 more service hours that make us closer to the goal. Stay tuned for all of the service events happening in March!

Our general meeting for the month of February was on the 11th, and it was a great time for Bellflower Key Club! We started off by taking our picture for the yearbook committee. After we went through our daily agenda of informing members about upcoming key club news, service projects, and ideas for the new term. Our 3rd to last meeting for the term was tiny yet impactful for both the board and members!

In the month of February, Division 13 South held a service week titled Spread the Love. Each day had a specific service event correlated to the week: Green Monday, Teacher Tuesday, Warm-hearted Wednesday, SOSP Thursday, and Friendship Friday! Since the month of February is known for sending love wherever needed, this was a great string of service events to participate in! We hope every member was able to make someone else’s day!

What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than by making cards? From February 12th to the 14th, Bellflower Key hosted a Valentine’s Day Card Making Service event! Members had the ability to create fun and cheesy valentine grams to send to friends, family, or significant others! This service event was another exciting way to show your love and appreciation for the people in your life. We hope every member enjoyed it!
