What's Poppin’ Bellflower Key Club! If you’re new around these parts, my name is Daniel and I proudly serve as your President and Division News Editor for the 2020-2021 term! I hope the school year has started off well for all of you! Most importantly, I hope you will join Bellflower Key Club! Key Club is a great club not only to give back to your community, but also find new friends and develop leadership skills! If you’re still hesitant on joining, or have any questions, don’t be afraid to ask me any questions! The deadline for club dues is THIS SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10TH!! Also this Saturday is Region 8 Training Conference, an annual region event in which you can attend workshops to learn more about various officer positions, more about Key Club, and various other topics that could help you. I highly encourage you to attend as it is one of my favorite Key Club events, and I’ll be presenting the Historians/Editors workshop!! I am so very excited to lead you all this term and will be working very hard with the rest of your board to make sure your Key Club experience is a great one. With so many service projects, fundraisers, social events in plan, we are sure Key Club will be the club for you. Once again, thank you to our historian, Coral Pongsuwan for publishing our wonderful newsletter! You can find our newsletter at issuu.com/bhsninjas! Kickin’ for Service,

Pijamas, icebreakers, monthly awards? You guessed it‌ SEPTEMBER DCM! Thank you all for showing up and showing out! Everyone had an amazing time, and we hope you did too! A special Congratulations to Mr. Ray Hamada, for being awarded with Kiwanis Advisor of the Month! There are many things that we wouldn’t be able to accomplish without you, so congrats! You deserve it!

For the month of September, Bellflower Key Club hosted Schooling Sundays: members were able to use websites such as Freerice, UNICEF Math, and BeanBean to fundraise for good causes, as well as gain some service hours! We hope you enjoyed it, and be on the lookout for more!

Transitioning into online school has been tough, so Bellflower Key Club decided to bring the spirit of thankfulness a little bit early! Our Key Clubbers were encouraged to send a letter / graphic of gratefulness! We appreciate our amazing BHS Staff! 9

The Pediatric Trauma Program is something that Key Club constantly advocates for, so we created a service event in which our members were allowed to showcase the importance of PTP! Thank you to all of those who participated!
