JULY 2020 ISSUE
Happy Summer Bellflower Key Club! Coral here again and I hope the start of summer has treated you well! There were many events in the month of June that our board as well as our Division board worked very hard on! We hope you all enjoyed volunteering while at home! We know that the months might feel so fast yet so slow, but we still encourage you guys to take precaution with your health 24/7! As things are opening back up in our state, it’s crucial that we all wear masks when going out and washing our hands every chance we get. The pandemic never left, and we cannot treat it as if it has. I hope that you are all doing well. Mental health check is important so please make sure to take care of yourselves and talk to any if needed. We love you guys and we are here for you! Without further ado, sit back, and enjoy our July newsletter! Kickin’ for Service,
Bellflower Key Club Historian

I hope all of you guys have been doing well! Congrats to the Class of 2020 for finally graduating!! You all have impacted us so much and we’re gonna miss you a lot. School is finally out, so please take this time to relax and destress from schoolwork! Aside from this, find some time to spend time doing your hobbies or helping out around the house. Your schedules should be a bit more free now, so try to participate in more service events! Summer is known to be very inactive, so please try your best to serve your community! Thank you everyone that came out to our social BONDfire with Gahr and Mayfair Key Clubs! I hope you all had a great time meeting new people and playing fun icebreakers and games! Also a big thank you to everyone that came out to Officer Training Conference! I hope you were able to learn so much about officer positions and more about Key Club! Thank you for taking the time to read this issue of the Ninja Times, brought to you by our historian Coral Pongsuwan (who also was recognized as Officer of the Month at June DCM :D)! I hope you enjoy!! :) Kickin’ for Service,
Bellflower Key Club President

To kick off summer, Bellflower Key Club participated in club and division events! Not only did our board create service events, we also co-hosted a joint service/social event with Mayfair High School and Gahr High School! Our members had a great time! Furthermore we had many participants in our division events such as the June Service Week, June DCM, and Harry Potter OTC! Though we haven’t raised as many funds we would like to, Bellflower Key Club as a whole is continuously working hard to ensure fun times during quarantine!

As a board we decided to have a service event to celebrate the wonderful fathers and father figures! Our members were able to create cards to show their love and appreciation! These two members decided to do digital work and we’re sure their fathers loved it! Thanks for participating!

Written by Webmaster Khomsan Liamkrajang ! On June 24th, Bellflower, Gahr, and Mayfair Key Club held a virtual bonfire event! Our members were able to spend time with one another and build connections while playing fun games! Our members also participated in a service event where they colored a cheerful drawing and sent them to senior citizens, troops overseas, or anyone else in need of a smile. We thank everyone who participated and made this event memorable!

From June 26th-28th, Bellflower Key Club decided to create a service event called Love and Positivity! Our members created paper heart origami with a message inside! It was a fun way to show the appreciation we have for the people in our lives, and an easy way to be crafty during the summer! Thank you to everyone who participated! 12
