The Mayors of Clearview Township, the Township of Springwater, and the Town of Wasaga Beach are pleased to invite residents from all three communities to attend an engaging evening with Doug Griffiths, national bestselling author of 13 Ways to Kill Your Community. According to Griffiths, “I help communities identify what is holding them back from finding success, and then I help them overcome it. When they aren’t looking I inspire, and often shock them, with a presentation showing how they are destroying their own chance at success. Then I help build them back up and get them on a better path.” Griffiths further states that, “success is all about attitude. For too long we have watched our communities weaken and wither and wondered when somebody is going to fix them.
Guess what? You are somebody. Now go out and fight the attitudes that sabotage success. Our communities are worth fighting for . . . and remember – you are not alone. You will face criticism and negativity, but our advice is to simply smile and remind the critics that, those who say it cannot be done, should not interrupt those who are doing it.” Come and learn practical and insightful lessons that can help all three of our communities prosper.
