Spice of Life
This spicy water is an upgraded version of the powerfully cleansing water with lemon. Just add some warming and energizing ginger, a fiber source in the form of chia seeds, and a sprinkling of cayenne pepper. This wakes up your body’s circulatory system.
Makes 1 glass

1-inch piece ginger, finely chopped 1 tablespoon chia seeds Juice of 1 lime A pinch of ground cayenne pepper
Put the ginger in a pan with 2 cups of water, and bring to a boil. Let it cool for a few minutes, and once it’s lukewarm, remove the ginger, transfer to a glass, and add the chia seeds. Stir and soak for 5 minutes.
Add the lime juice, and sprinkle with cayenne pepper. Stir and serve.
