Over the course of the last few years and looking into the future, Blue Line Arts has reached out to more than 50 organizations to bring the arts closer to you! This month, we’ll be at the Utility Exploration Center once again, for a weekend creation and education featuring “Waste-a-Palooza.” This very special partnership features the education of improving our environment through sustainability while using the critical thinking skills of our creative brains to create beauty from our discards. This month, we continue our partnership with the Crocker Art Musuem and the Kingsley Art Club in the prestigious Crocker-Kingsley competition and exhibition. Please visit to see the work of 75 talented artists who were selected among the 1800 entries by juror, Gregory Kondos. Our partnerships with the City of Roseville, the Roseville Chamber of Commerce and Paramount Equity
allow the membership of artists show their work in public spaces for a threemonth duration to promote the work and beautify the space. Stay tuned for future exhibition locations within our extended region! Finally, in education, we join with the Roseville City School District Foundation and The Shalom School of Sacramento providing art instruction to children, and partner with Sierra College and Sacramento State for exhibition opportunities, lectures and workshops. Be sure to stop by this month to see the work from the Hallberg Award recipients from Sierra College artists. Our future continues with partnerships far and wide, as you’ll be seeing us share the arts with friends from the Art League of Lincoln, Art Studio Trek, Creative Arts League of Sacramento and many more. Join us in supporting the Community Art Garden. Click Here for more details. Will you become our partner too?

QUESTIONS FOR THE CURATOR Hi Folks! I want to start a new way of presenting Curators Corner. I think a question and answer section might be helpful to people. Please send any questions you have about the “Art” world to tony@bluelinearts.org and I will try my best to answer them. If I can not I will find the answer amongst my friends and contacts.
Q&A What is the most effective way to advertise an art exhibit? Facebook is the number one advertising media for me. Make the post simple with a nice picture. Just the facts Ma’am! Next is sending an email to the editors of the local magazines and newspapers, all of the them have emails they want you to send info at. I also use MailChimp for an email advertisement. Collect emails of people who are interested in your work and keep them abreast of what you are doing on a regular basis.
